“Unable to access course- e mail sent . no response. Still cant do course”

“I was expecting videos of live situations from a course which had been reduced from over £200 to £29. The material here is no more than a very short book. So £29 is very expensive.”

“The Level 3 Teaching Assistant Course was too wordy, in places out of date and contained spelling / grammar mistakes. It would have been better if the sections of writing were more broken up with images, pictures, diagrams, graphs and perhaps some interactive pieces such as short video clips for the purpose of demonstration.”

“Purchased a course and was promptly sent my log-in details. I was advised to use the password that I had with a previous course I completed with them. When I logged in, there was the course, but when I tried to access the modules I was unable to. I then got a message to say my membership had expired. I emailed the college regarding this and received a reply telling me I could purchase a 3 month extension. I replied back but did not get any response. I tried to phone but did not get any answer until the next week. I was then informed that they would sort it out and get back to me. I then received an email to say there was a problem with the course and it would be sorted within 24/48 hours. After 4 days I emailed to inform that I still could not get access to the course. I have not had a reply. Hardly a good start, I am not impressed.”

“I purchased a hard copy of my certificate six days ago and it hasn’t arrived it said it would take 2-3 working days :( can someone make sure I get what I paid for please”

“Not great content & there are spelling mistakes! Freezes and you have to restart the module, frequently. Wouldn't recommend, unfortunately.”

“Spelling mistakes, answers with the same meaning, and my answers got changed, i took the test again and it done the same thing, so i got a lower score then what i should have got :(”

“I did the Advanced First Aid for Puppies and Dogs and I have to say it needs looking at. It repeated whole sentences, like it was copied and pasted. It said see diagrams there wasn't any!!! At all!!! Some of the questions were badly written! The whole thing was badly done and needs a total overhaul. Its a good job I had first Aid knowledge anyway. So I did pass it. But you seriously need to look at it.”

“Some courses are extremely easy and short, not really worth a certificate, whilst others are very long and take a lot of effort to complete, making you feel the certificate has been earned through hard work. Sadly difference between the courses, but both giving you the same level on a certificate makes it questionable as to whether the course certificate you’ve earned really has much value to a potential employer. This is disappointing”

“Very basic course with basic questions. Should be 60 hours minimum study time as level 3 but I did and passed with high distinction in less than 2 hours”

The hours also relates to how many CPD points a course is worth, so a 60 hour course would be worth 6 CPD points. “I'll suggest oplex courses shall have lifetime access. It's frustrating to renew the course after one year.”

“Normally Oplex are very good but this time they have been exceptionally slow to load the course material, still waiting for the material five days on even though the course has been paid for.”

“The website is a little difficult to navigate when your doing the final assessment. The live chat is not that good.. Some of these courses are not regonised by some companies. So beware..”

“As I progress through the courses I purchased I find more and more errors, which is a huge shame as the content itself is good. I have completed free courses which were better put together. Please employ a proofreader and copyeditor!”

“I enjoyed the course, but the spelling and particularly the grammer was awful and made reading the course VERY frustrating. It was as though the content was translated by computer from another language. I would not buy any more courses because of this.”

“well I was quite surprised when all the courses were cancelled after i paid for them and had not started during this covid also my sister pass away in december. The courses were not on my mind at that time I am very disapointed you should have allowed one to keep courses or an extension during these times. I have had to purchase NLP afgain . The career course that i completed i was pleased with before covid 19 . I have started to look at othere companies who give you life time access. I think your staff are helpful and have great customer service which is important to me.”
