“Communication was very good from reporting to recovery. BA3 has recovered my car this morning. He was polite & reassuring during a stressful situation. Equally the technician that attended the vehicle last night when I initially reported the breakdown provided a great service”

“The staff i spoke to on the phone were very understanding and helpful. They reconised i have anxity and health issues. The recovery company were also very understanding and kept me informed with eta and explained issue to car . What i am not happy with is there was a charge for specialist lifting equipment. Not indicated in the cover leaflet of my policy. Where shows in bright green what is covered (recovery) and gives a list. In Red what is not covered no mention of specialist equipement. I feel i was misled by this leaflet to believe i was covered in a breakdown where my car would just not start and was parked in an open air car park, sadly though there was a hight restrictor to the car park. Hence a special bit of kit was required to remove my car . I can not express how bitterly dissapointed and misled i feel by this covee leaflet.”

“Mark the recovery driver was superb, friendly and went out if his way to help me. (Flat tyre) Re having basic cover for recovery with Onecall, I was surprised and disappointed that I still ended up paying £79 for recovery of my vehicle as I was only 16 miles from my home. It would be helpful for Onecall to not ask you to go onto there portal after you initially get through to speak to someone (I was on the hard shoulder of the motorway in pouring rain) easier if they booked a recovery vehicle and then text you all the information necessary”

“I was not able to stay with the vehicle but nominated a family member. Communication was spot on, always notified of the timescale and recovery. The engineer was kind and courteous.”

“Hi the service from the call centre was great , not so much from the recovery company. First truck pulled up and tried to drag car onto loader , but couldn’t as it was stuck in gear and battery died straight away then I had to pay another £90 to get a bigger truck to lift it, he then put charger on car to check mileage and low and behold it come out of gear and started quite happily”

“My call was answered swiftly by username LP5, he was courteous professional and helpful, which was necessary as not having been in the position of requiring breakdown assistance very often I was quite nervous. I was given a time for the assistance to arrive, and it was on time. unfortunately, a repair could not be made, and I had to wait for a breakdown lorry to take the car to my garage. This was also on time.”

“Fantastic service. Arrived within an hour to change my tyre. The mechanic SG2 was very polite and just got on with the job. I would highly recommend him its great to have a great service these days much appreciated.”

“Absolutely excellent service, breakdown arrived within an hour. The weather was appalling , the engineer was outstanding in a difficult situation. He couldn't be more helpful with an exceptional can do attitude. Well done one call rescue, I managed to get my vehicle to my local garage by driving it there, I contacted them to let them know I was coming and it was your engineer that gave me all the advice. He was very safety conscious and very understanding.”
