“The service is appalling and the treatment from customer care was even worse. The prices on this website are higher than many other websites, yet products are marketed as being “on sale.” I ordered a hoverboard in time for my son’s birthday and Holy Communion, but what arrived was clearly scratched and appeared used. Instead of properly resolving the issue, customer services only offered a refund if I returned the item myself to a DPD drop-off point. I was also expected to pay £20 for Saturday delivery for the replacement. Although they later offered to cover the Saturday delivery cost, no goodwill gesture or compensation was offered despite the inconvenience caused entirely by their mistake. To make matters worse, the only option given was for me to purchase another hoverboard upfront and wait for a refund on the damaged one. This meant I was temporarily out of pocket by around £400 because of their error. The customer care manager, Jesse, repeatedly stated that they were “resolving the issue” and therefore there was nothing further they could do, while completely ignoring the fact that the problem should never have happened in the first place. I also requested a phone call to discuss the matter properly, only to be told their phone lines were “not working.” Overall, an extremely disappointing experience, poor customer service, and a company that takes very little accountability when things go wrong. I would not recommend ordering from them.”

“Please avoid this company at all costs. Hoverkart does not work, and the customer service is non existent. We are left with a very upset 9 year old, and company taking no responsibility for a product sold at £250 that clearly doesn't work. Their trick is to ask customers for multiple videos to time waste, with no interest to rectify the situation.”

“We bought an All Terrain board for my little boy at Xmas. It was used indoors for a few hours on Xmas Day and ridden down a concrete path once and the next day one of the wheels is making a loud grinding noise! Hoverboard don’t answer the phone and even on 6th Jan have a answerphone saying due to busy period, you have to email. Iv sent 3 videos requested by them and they still haven’t diagnosed the problem saying they cannot hear the grinding (which is very obvious from the footage) and have asked me to send the same video again! These boards are not cheap but I choose to purchase based on quality, H&S and customer service and I’m sorry I did!”

“Bought a Hoverboard and go kart converter kit. After a few months the board has stopped working. Emailed the company, they responded asking me to make a video and send it to them, stating if its faulty I can return and they will repair. Sent the video, Since then they have not responded to my emails, I have been calling the phone number off the website and it has been saying "they are not taking calls during this busy time".......its been 3 months. AVOID AVOID AVOID waste of money!”

“Fantastic product and so much fun. Solid and Sturdy. My children were SUPER EXCITED when they opened these on Christmas Day. It's the most expensive gift I've ever been able to buy them and they get so much joy out of these. It was worth the scrimping and scraping every pound I could to see their faces. The Karts are AMAZING!! It's like a transformer. I spoke to Official Hoverboard via email and they explained everything I need to know on to up keep them for my children. Thank you again.”

“I do not recommed. My wife bought a hoverboard for our child. It lasted a day. This company sells Faulty products. The products are not genuine and come with no paperwork of authentication. The electrical items have not been tested to UK regulations therefore are unstable and unsafe.”
