Avoid this company. Terrible service. Charged me £65 for a call out, engineer visited and said he needed to order a part and would be back in a few days. Called to find out any update and was spoken to incredibly rudely and in an aggressive way by a man who changed his story multiple times, ranging from "I'll order the part" to "You should buy a new oven". He put the phone down on me twice without giving me an indication of if he could do the job, how much it would cost or a timescale. I've taken my business elsewhere. Do not use this company.

I had a service booked but 3 hours later realised I needed to change the time. I called several times and waited 30 minutes on 1 call. The next day I spoke to someone at 9am they changed the time and hung up abruptly. I called back to give some extra information they didn’t pick up after 3 further attempts they did and shouted my appointment was cancelled and hung up. I was very upset by this extremely rude person. What a terrible waste of to treat anyone let alone a customer. If this is the Owen’s avoid this company. If it’s an employee they shouldn’t be dealing with customers. Please listen to the calls it’s shocking

Appliance Centre canceled my order because they could not deliver it on time and has not refunded me back my money. I have called, emailed, and left chats, but I still have not received a refund. Do not buy from Appliance Centre and check other reviews for this company.

I had an engineer on the 9th January to repair the switches in my microwave oven. He informed me that I need parts and asked to be payed in advance promising to return and fix the switches. after purchasing the parts, I have bookd for an engineer to come today, 16th January between 12-14pm. No one turned up and when I tried to contact the shop there was no reply. Enventually it went to the engineer that came last time and he was extremly rude, unpleasent and unhelpful. It is impossible to get through to anybody who could help, and I feel that money was taken from me under false pretences.

I would like to give it 10,000 minus stars. Bought and paid for over £3,000 of Miele appliances in June. No show on delivery, twice. Asked for refund and got finally got a confirmation in mid July. After several time of calling and asking for a refund, the shop said they will do it but just simply did NOT. It is now end of November and no refund. Going to start legal procedures.

worst experience ever. I bought an oven online 6 weeks ago that was never delivered and a refund has never been made despite several phone calls, emails and letters. My bank is now on the case to claim my money bank. The man on the phone is so rude. I don't know if this place actually delivers anything they sell?

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I have given 1 star, only because I wasn't sure how to give 0 stars. I booked in a repair for a dishwasher on Thursday, for the engineer to come on Friday. Friday morning I received an email stating "Status: Cancel", that was all, no explanation, no option to rebook. I called them straight back and they said they would book it in for Monday. I asked for a confirmation, but they wouldn't send one. By now I was getting suspicious. I called on Monday, the same guy, Sam, answered the phone. I asked if he could tell me what time roughly they would be there, he said between 10 and 12. When I asked if that was definite he started swearing and then out of the blue he said it's f...ing cancelled alright, repeated it and put the phone down. I was shocked, not only is this company unreliable, but also rude and dare I say it, maybe a bit unstable. DO NOT USE THEM!

Your requested a repair for Friday which we didn't confirmed and I booked the repair over the phone with you for today between 10-12. I confirmed the today appointment on Friday with you and today morning when you called again I confirmed that the engineer is booked for today and after you kept asking if its confirmed for today multiple times I cancelled the job. Not sure why you had to ask the same questions 6-7 times
If you like dealing with rude customer service, delays for delivery and difficulties with refunds then Appliancecentre is the place to use. I ordered an oven to be delivered and installed but the delivery date was missed a number of times, I tried calling to find out what happened over a period of two weeks but never got a clear answer, each time I was hung up on mid way through the call. On the 5th call they said they would refund me the money but this also took another call, 2 weeks of waiting and raising a dispute with my bank. Do not use this company they are terrible

Washing machine has not turned up a week after the indicated installation date. Very difficult to get through to customer service who proceeded to hang up on me mid way through conversation. Suggest avoiding Appliancentre and using other more established retailers.

We booked an engineer to install an oven and take away the old one. The engineer first called to say his card machine was broken so we would have to pay cash. Then he arrived in his car and explained his van was broken. I asked how was he going to take the oven to which he replied he couldn't and we would have to rebook. The installation was done quickly and professionally. However, the old oven is yet to be picked up. I'm really disappointed with this lack of service.

Just had the worst customer service call of my life with this company. Was trying to sort out my oven to be repaired and potentially about to spend £500 with them. I simply asked for them to email me the quote and they deliberately hung up after explaining that the price has already been stated. Will spend my money elsewhere and glad I have now seen similar reviews to reassure my choice!

I booked a service call on Monday and chose this company rather than others who could come sooner. However today received an email cancelling the appointment with no reason given. They obviously cannot fulfil there service appointments. Now I have to spend time finding another provider and giving sensitive details. Time wasters

Booked an installation for a dishwasher a week ago and received an email today to say it's cannot be fulfilled - one day before installation appointment. Poor customer service on the phone to the extent the call handler cut me off abruptly. avoid and won't be using again.

I ordered a washing machine online at the beginning of April, because I was convinced by the positive review from other customers. They must be fake. The item I ordered was not available to be shipped, Appliancentre kept me waiting for nearly two weeks saying every day that the appliance would come the day after. They never delivered. Then they cancelled the order but never sent me back my money. It's a month now. I AM STILL FIGHTING TO HAVE MY MONEY BACK!!!! Beware.

Absolutely appalling service. I paid £96 for a call-out, and despite repeated attempts—via phone, email, and live chat—I have yet to receive an invoice. Every interaction has been met with shocking rudeness. When I requested to speak to a manager, I was abruptly hung up on. This has happened repeatedly, with calls ending in a dismissive "bye." Over 20 attempts to resolve this issue, and yet no progress. Their lack of professionalism and complete disregard for basic customer service is unacceptable. Avoid this company at all costs—don’t waste your time, money, or patience.

I wish I had read all the negative comments before purchasing from them. I ordered from them explicitly because the website confirmed a delivery date of the 2nd of January. The 2nd comes and no delivery. I called for an update and I was then told this was an error on their part (on a call that they record as I know they will comment in response.) They had not emailed or called me to share this. I asked for an updated delivery date and was told maybe the 3rd or 4th and that he would contact me with an update. No updates. I called again on the 3rd for an update and was told I'd be called back as it might be that day (again on a recorded call). Towards the end of day on the 3rd I called for an update to see if I could leave home. I experienced the rudest customer service at this point. Then my calls were ignored and I was only able to request a refund by going through Euronics to get my call answered. I then spoke to the owner who confirmed he would refund me. It's now been two weeks and no refund or response to any of my emails. Apparently they like to reply to reviews so maybe this will get me my refund and a response finally.

I had an issue with the dishwasher (tap kept flashing red). The so-called engineer turned up, did not perform any checks and simply concluded that the heat pump was broken. He eventually returned (two weeks or so later) with a new heat pump - and charged me £165 for it. He also took away the old heat pump without permission. The change in the heat pump did not fix the issue (the tap was still flashing red as before) so we asked him to come back. When he returned he now claimed that there was also a leak with the dishwasher. This leak is supposed to have magically appeared in the period when we were not using the dishwasher. He had obviously not done his job properly. I called customer service to complain and for a refund. The guy on the phone refused to let me speak, was rude and aggressive and swore at me. Please do not under any circumstances do business with this company. I would give zero stars if that were possible.

Sent an engineer for a totally unnecessary consultation and charged me £102 for the privilege. I will not be using them again. I would leave 0 stars if I could
