“What a great service! If I bought my glasses on the high street, not only would it be more expensive (trust me I looked around), but it would have taken at least a full week (even with those offering 1hour service) to get my glasses. With NewLenses, I ordered late on Monday (maybe early Tuesday) and recieved them on Friday, not only did I get them fast, but I also saved about £30.”

“Was disappointed with how long the lenses took to be made up. Apparently they sat for 4 days without being worked on despite having received them!(had to send the glasses and a photo due to wanting varifocals) an Andy from customer service stated he would look into it but never got back to me. Shame as the glasses themselves were great! Just the customer experience side wasn't”

“My new lenses are very good. The service received was good. The quality of the lenses is very good. Materials used and workmanship is very good. Overall, I will recommend this firm and use them again myself. The reason for not giving 5 stars is that it took around 2 weeks to receive my glasses back.”

The Elite Varifocal digital freeform lens, together with Transitions, is a complex lens so it does take around 7-10 working days to complete due to the many manufacturing processes involved. “There is no anti-glare/reflection coating on their standard lens. As the result, the lens are NOT clear NOR reflection-free. Disappointed.”

Hi, thank you for taking the time to write a review. I'm very sorry to hear that you're disappointed with the lenses. As you know, you chose our standard (FREE) lens package which doesn't include the multi coat. For £10, you can add the coatings as part of our "bronze" lens package upgrade, this includes anti scratch, anti glare, UV400 filter. Kind regards, Adam
