“Easy purchasing process, lots of stock. Only let down is for lightweight, low cost components; no tracking service is available for international shipping sent via Royal Mail. It's been 3 weeks and my plastic gear shift bushing has not arrived. From previous experience, International post from Royal Mail Uk to Australia is notoriously slow. I can't remember if courier service was available as an option for my UK 9 pound plastic part but will definitely select it next time.”

“Quick delivery and parts as described. The only issue was that the third party who made the delivery was not the one named in the email confirmation and the tracking code was wrong. Even so everything arrived on time and as expected. Definitely would shop with MX5 parts again.”

“Nice people to do business with, the first chap I spoke with seemed a little lacking in knowledge, but struck gold on the second call and was advised to order online to facilitate a tracking service for my order which was for a mild steel exhaust centre-section and back box for 2004 Mk2.5. Delivery in 3 days and I passed it over to my mechanic for fitting with replacement Cat as the original was stolen. My mechanic reported that it proved very difficult to obtain a seal between Cat and mid-section, indeed the car had to be returned for a refit before it sealed properly. He also mentioned that it was very tight to the underside of the car in places and I have noticed the odd knock from underneath since fitment. Vehicle has now done about 150 miles and it is a bit louder and raspier than the original system which was still like new after 19 years - what wasn't stolen anyway. I obviously can't speak for the longevity of the new system, but if you like your exhaust to sound a bit raspier than standard this may suit you.”

“Well covered for parts from my experience MK1 NA . With sensors , thermostats etc it is probably best to buy the OEM option from my experience buying both. MX5 Parts are a good resource. I have a Mk 1 not sure about other marks.”

“I read other reviews before buying this. The battery clamp bolt is longer than the one that comes with the car. However it is a genuine Mazda part and when fitted the cover fits fine over it. Having the thread longer means you have a better chance of not losing it again. The not does not come with the bolt.”

“Good product. Feels well made a pretty tight fit. Straps could be a faff to get under, but given the fit, you probably don't need them unless its particularly windy or exposed. Service from MX5 parts was excellent. I needed it in a bit of a hurry, and delivery was very quick indeed. I really appreciated the speed of service.”

“Cover arrived promptly and appears so far to be preventing the ingress of water on to the car. Only downside, Parcelforce ignored my instructions twice to deliver to a neighbour so I had traipse over to their depot in Crayford to collect it. A round trip of an hour and 20 mins”
