Very disappointed with the quality of the tool box. The interior was so poorly made that on opening the box the tool racks fell apart so that the tools could not be held in place. Looks good in the catalogue but fails in practice.

Well as I haven't received my parcel it is difficult to have a positive opinion. I did receive a parcel a week ago which I had to queue for an hour to get it but is was not mine. I then had to return this parcel to the post office. This is the first time I have had a problem with Mulberry Bush. Lets hope it is the last.

Poor quality product, my wife's comment was "it looks like something from the pound shop". When I complained, I received a response which basically told me I was wrong, no suggestion of returning or other offer. Not impressed.

Sorry you were disappointed with your item. When you emailed before you explained that you didn't think the product was great and asked for our comment before you provided your review. We replied explaining we thought the product was a good product, justifying why - but as explained we totally respected your opinion and never suggested you were wrong. In our reply to you before we also explained that you were of course entitled to return your order and directed you to our website returns page for full details. Sorry once again you were disappointed, the option to return your item to us is still open to you

Just took delivery of "Jumping Putty" - very disappointing indeed. Does not jump at all ? But I only found this out after obviously taking all the packaging off and trying it. Wont buy again - was for a little 5yr old who loves stuf like this - shame. I can shop elsewhere...

The basket set is held together with fishing line and very badly put together. I'm going to repair it for xmas. The cups etc seem fine. Disappointing.

Dissapointed with balance bikes i bought. Much smaller than expected, however i kept one and sent two back . Not happy that i had to pay the postage for returns , requested a refund and was charged a delivery fee for the original parcel . On principle i shall nit be buying anything else from here.

Thanks for your order and your review. We're sorry the balance bikes were smaller than you'd expected. We do show the balance bikes with children using them - intended to help show size and scale - and we also show dimensions of these items both on our website and in our catalogue. The bikes are as described, and they do have the facility to raise/lower the seat a little giving some flexibility to the child height that they suit. But we're sorry you were disappointed. The delivery fee, as outlined and shown on our Returns page, was charged because your order no longer qualified for free delivery. Had you have elected to have replacement items (eg the Didicars that you considered), we offer free delivery on us sending exchange/replacement items so you would not have charged delivery, and indeed your original order would still have qualified for free delivery. one handle with no threading so unable to screw on the legs of the horse arent aligned with the holes in the rocker so very difficult to attach together. All in all very poorly made. however looks gorgeous. Emailed sales team already after speaking to mulburry customer services

My parcel was sent to another customer and hers was sent to me. I was told by Mulberry Bush that they would send my order the next day by DPD courier. I asked them to tell DPD to leave the parcel in a particular place for safety. DPD did not do this and left it on the front door step in full view of passers by. I also had to send the other lady’s order back to them which meant a 20 minute drive to the post office.

As we explained at the time, this was a simply case of a human error in our warehouse - a one-off mistake - and we're sorry it happened on your order. Ordered by internet. The screen told me that the transaction had failed. I went to the trouble of filling in a postal order form and signing the cheque when I happened to notice an email confirming my order. Had I not been so alert, I'd have paid twice.

Dear Mr Frost - sorry you had problems placing your order. We can see that we sent you an order acknowledgement email immediately as your payment was placed on our website, then a despatch confirmation email a day or two later. Had you have sent the cheque we can also confirm that we would have spotted this as a duplicate order and that you would not have had two orders or paid twice. We wonder whether the initial payment didn't work - hence the 'failed payment' screen - but then your subsequent second attempt online worked ok? This is perhaps what caused the confusion? I love the ‘retro racer’ children’s push car in theory but it’s the most awkward thing to put together. Firstly it doesn’t come with any of the screws and nuts required which makes no sense - considering it costs over £70 you’d think it would include all essential parts. And then once you’ve managed to source the tiny screws that you need, it’s the most frustratingly fiddly thing to put together. Ikea furniture it’s not. I’d 100% recommend this product IF it came fully assembled but as it doesn’t, I won’t be recommending it to anyone. It’s just not worth the effort. Keep in mind that I race go karts as a hobby and so am relatively capable when it comes to screws and nuts!

Dear Customer, Sorry you were disappointed with the service you received. We agree - in this modern age, customers should be provided with estimated delivery timescales and tracking details for their parcels. And we do do this - all this information was provided for you. All customers placing orders on our website receive Order Acknowledgement emails when placing their order and then a Despatch Confirmation email when the order is despatched. The Order Acknowledgement gives an indication of how long it will take for your parcel to arrive, mirroring what we explain on our Delivery webpage. The Despatch Confirmation email explains the courier service used, it gives details of how to track your parcel and provides an estimated delivery date. We have checked and we can see that we sent both of these emails to you - providing you with a delivery date estimate and tracking details. Perhaps these two emails went to your spam folder? We can see too that your parcel - although taking a day or two longer than we might hope - did arrive with you quicker than advised in our Order Acknowledgement.

The product came in 2 colours and I wrongly assumed I had ordered the colour I wanted. Wrong! When I rang to ask if I could order another in the correct colour the sales adviser was rude but did say she would ask for the colour I wanted but there was no guarantee that I would get it. What is the point of advertising 2 colours if you can not choose especially as they are pink and blue.

The website was hopeless. They said that my payment hadn't gone through so I ordered again, only to find that I now had two of the item. I had amended the address for the second/repeat order so one product went to one address and one to the other. It was a complete mess. Fortunately I was ordering a small 'joke' item so not much harm was done financially, but it made me very cross.

My goods were delayed but I was assured they would be with me later on the expected day. They weren't. I received an email from the carrier saying they were sorry I'd not been in to receive my delivery ~ I was, but I had to re-book the delivery for the following Monday. I was given a time slot of 1:08 to 2:08 but received nothing, yet again, but the carrier website indicated that I had signed for the parcel just before 2pm. I phoned Mulberry Bush and after some investigation was told that my parcel had been delivered 'somewhere' in Cooke Drive. The driver was not answering his phone so I was left with no choice other than to go round all the neighbouring houses to find my parcel, which I eventually did. (I was told an investigation could take up to 5 days!!) A neighbour, who was definitely NOT Larcombe as indicated by the driver had taken the parcel in. The box was somewhat bashed about but I have to trust that all will be OK for its eventual recipient. I have been extremely disappointed with my experience and don't feel inclined to use your company again.

Dear Mrs Larcombe,    Thank you for taking the time to place your review.  We are sorry you have only given us two stars,  we believe we did everything possible to resolve the delivery issues with your order as quickly as possible for you and feel this is an unfair reflection of our service to you.  The first delivery was delayed because the courier driver had a puncture and although he did resume his round he was not able to complete his round on the assigned day.  I personally rang the courier company, and relayed this information to you, and while it was disappointing I’m sure you’ll agree it was out of our control.   On the second attempt at delivery, you called and informed me the delivery tracking said you had signed for your parcel in the previous 5 minutes and that this was not the case.  I immediately called the courier company and although they were not able to speak to the driver (perhaps he was driving) the GPS tracking in his van showed him to have been in the exact location of your house at the correct time.  This indicated he had probably left the parcel with a neighbour if not with you.  I was more than happy to raise an investigation with the courier company but their process of investigation does take up to 5 days and I suggested it might be more expedient for you to ask your neighbours if they had received your parcel.  An investigation would show if the driver had attempted to deliver to your home or why he delivered the parcel to a neighbour, but you declined this offer.   Please do let us know if the parcel is damaged and we can investigate this for you.  I sincerely believe we did everything possible to resolve the delivery issue speedily, we use the most reputable courier company in the country, but I am sorry you were disappointed on this occasion.     Kind Regards Andrea Eveleigh
