“My van was booked for an Mot at a bargain £19 The test started on time.
It failed on a cut tyre and a ball joint.
I needed to get the van back on the road and they juggled around to get some ramp space for it.
They didn't have my trye but readily agreed to put the spare on for me.
They found that the spare had a separate locking device and I didn't have the key.
They left it on the ramp whilst I went and got a new tyre on the wheel which was pretty good of them.
Wheel went on after the ball joint had been replaced.
A quick retest and I was back on the road by 3pm.
Even though I gave them problems they resolved them and made a special effort to make it work.
Another day off the road would have cost me money and they understood that.
Pretty good all round.

When I got there the receptionist was very welcoming and helpful, the test was completed in around 45 minutes, and although the car passed there were some 'advisory's' which were explained to me. “Only criticism would be the the waiting area was cold. As I was waiting whilst mot was carried out, I had to keep walking around to try and warm up. Otherwise, everything was excellent. Jason was happy to explain what was happening at different stages whilst I was viewing (and initially getting concerned about the 'throwing' around of my car on the rollers. Used for past 2years for both cars and would thoroughly recommend. (taking a hot water bottle next time ;-) )”
