“Contacted them with details of a employment law case, since they offer a free initial consultation. Another firm's initial consultation said I had a good case. No-one called me back from Monaco for two days, even though I called three times, and re-sent the online form. Eventually a sales team member called me back and said the initial consultation would cost £175 + VAT for half an hour. Avoid at all costs.”

“Sent my case over, asking for a free consultation, as this should be a very straight forward case, well documented on my side. Got referred via standard email template to their sub brand LEX Lawyer which looks a bit funny tbh (GBP 125 for 0.5h consultation)...for 2nd class cases? I guess Alex got a bit irritated about my current employer as it might be notoriously known. Again, solid case on my side, well documented but a non thanks from Alex. No problem, you make good content on Youtube, but very much a let down that you are this selective. Will try on my own for the time being.”

Hi there, we are sorry you feel this way. We do take on as many cases as possible. As you can imagine, with over 1 million visits to our websites, we can't take on every case. Your employer has nothing to do with it - we take cases against all employers. Just because a case is well documented it doesn't mean it's a legally viable case. “I paid £300+vat for review of content details of claim for my ET1. The solicitor checked it and made changes for review. The changes she made were incorrect and wrong. It was as if she had not read my case properly at all. If I had included these mistakes it would have lifted weight from the details of my claim. Instead of accepting the solicitors errors, I had to spend the next 48hrs in a legal library amending their errors. When i asked the solicitor for a call as i did not understand some of her content ( i hadn't used up the charged time i had paid for) she was unavailable. I've paid the first invoice which I was happy with but I queried the second as the solicitor had spent little time, the document had been amended (incorrectly) and she was unavailable for further calls. She refused to listen and just demanded the payment. All about the money sadly:( My advice is to think very carefully before using Monaco. Seems like they are just focused on making easy money at a price which may cost you your claim. I would have been better spending my £720 with a legal practise that does not operate a pay and go, self employed service :(”

You say that our edits 'lifted weight from your claim' but sometimes we have to help clients not to fall into the trap of 'kitchen sinking' - including weaker points in a an ET1, which detract from the strong points. We do stand by our work in this case as being 100% legally correct and carefully considered."
