Metadata training was an easy choice from the outset, great location, facilities, excellent trainers, a high pass rate for exams and availability of courses during the weekends, it was a no brainer! The training courses run by Metadata are well planned out, clear and easy to follow with plenty of breaks to keep you refreshed. The best aspect of the course are the real life examples the trainers use and their ability to be flexible enough to field questions from everyone so that you have something meaningful to take away. The training I've had at Metadata has meant I've been able to implement changes within my business and grow within the team, Metadata has put me on a track for continuous improvement and will future-proof my career path going forward For anyone looking to undertake professional training I would highly recommend this provider and personally look forward to my next course!

I've taken two courses with Metadatatraining this year, in Business Analysis Practice and Requirements Engineering. The trainer was excellent at breaking concepts down and providing us with plenty of examples and illustrations from their considerable experience. The course material was clearly presented and always backed up with detailed supplementary case studies for further revision. The group was small, friendly, and everyone was happy to engage with the material, which made for a positive and enthusiastic atmosphere full of encouragement. The venue was easy to reach, and the facilities were welcoming with plenty of refreshments to keep us going. The head office support is also very strong too. I recommend them very highly as a training provider and wouldn't hesitate to use them in future. Mike

I enjoyed attending the business analysis and requirements engineering courses. The tutors are professional and engaging. Well versed in the subjects and interact so well with the candidates. As a new entrant into the field of business analysis, the courses were a great introduction to what I would need to succeed in this field. I would definitely recommend my friends and colleagues to enrol for these and more courses.

As a Contractor, one of the primary reasons why I chose Metadata Training was the availability of weekend courses. The information provided on their website is easy to read and there are different options to pay. The booking process is easy and the team at Metadata respond to queries fairly quickly. There is a lot of material to go through (especially for the 'Requirements Engineering' course). However, the training facilitators are experienced and are able to distill information in a manner that is easy to digest and remember for exams. The best aspects of training are the facilitators. I had Mike Eckersley for a couple of my courses and he keeps the material fresh with practical examples and he checks for understanding with us throughout the weekend course. Having completed a couple of courses has helped me as a Business Analyst. I am able to easily put theory into practice and having a more disciplined approach to business analysis can only enhance our profession. I do think BCS needs to offer training courses that cover 'Agile' as this seems to be the 'new' way of working, and I think training organisations such as Metadata are more than able to offer those courses (they do off the BCS Agile course). Whilst APMG and Scrum Alliance 'Agile' courses are gaining momentum, BCS courses are still the primary qualification that is recognised by recruiters and employers alike. Whilst BCS tends to veer to more 'Waterfall' ways of working, the courses offer a solid base to build your skills as a Business Analyst. I would recommend training courses offered by Metadata - especially if you get Mike Eckersley as your training facilitator.

I took the BCS Requirements Engineering certification with Metadata. I have a mixed experience of training courses over a 25+ year career, but my experience with Metadata was among the best. Their training centre is conveniently located near Old Street and offers a fine environment for learning. Their lunch arrangements are very good and nicely relaxed, and all at a very competitive price. Of course the most important thing is the quality of their trainers and ours was excellent. Warm, friendly and extremely knowledgeable - not just about the subject but it's practical application. She led the course at the right pace, was engaging and inclusive, and was open to explore questions when needed. I couldn't recommend Metadata more highly and they have become the company I will look to first when planning training, whether for me or my company.

I chose Metadata Training for my Business Analysis Foundation course as they seemed to offer a good quality of teaching for a reasonable price, a conclusion I came to having viewed the course description on their website. I am pleased to say that the website was honest and Metadata were indeed a good choice. The trainer had a wealth of real-world experience of Business Analysis and IT development projects and was able to apply these well to the concepts being taught. I passed the test at the end of the course with a good mark and was really pleased with the end result. Passing this course has equipped me with more tools to do my job as well as a greater understanding of the concepts and terminology involved in business analysis roles. This in turn has increased the confidence I have at work.

I was recently put on two courses with Metadata by work - the Foundation in Business Analysis and Systems Development Essentials. the training was incredibly personable and professional, offering anecdotal evidence to support the practices and methods taught. The best part of the courses were the instructors. They clearly know their stuff and go at exactly the right pace for a class with mixed abilities. The best thing about these courses is that they are delivered and designed to ensure that you can clearly recognise how to apply the teachings in your day to day work. I'd encourage anyone wanting to advance their knowledge and understanding of Business Analysis to take these courses as it's incredibly beneficial, advances your learning, and most of all it's good fun.

I am a software project manager with several years of experience and I can say that there are few trainings in the market worth spending time for. This training is one of them. Thanks to the motivated trainer and structured methodology of Metadata Training this course extended my knowledge in requirements engineering significantly. Duration and format of the course BCS Requirements Engineering is just right for its purpose. Thank you.

Didn't know if the course was quite right for me as a bit 'left of field' from my work as a data analyst. However, the course was well structured and delivered and it certainly was worth while. However, I did struggle with some of the more technical aspects due to my lack of knowledge/business experience which may have contributed to not passing the exam. Am still glad I undertook the course as knowledge is never wasted.

I chose Metadata Training on the recommendation of a colleague. The venue was great and the fact it was a small group of people attending was great. Everyone felt able to join in with discussions and debates, it was a great learning platform. Since attending the course I have been able to challenge (where appropriate) on the current processes used by the BSA team I am part of. Due to a greater understanding of the role, I am able to push back when asked to perform tasks which, for example, would usually sit with a PM. The lecturer was great. He was engaging and encouraged open discussions on all topics covered. He also gave great advice on exam technique - which was invaluable advice. I'd definitely recommend Metadata and would also use them again in the future.

I was fresher and wanted to do BA Diploma. After much research and speaking to staff I chose Metadata and I got more than what I expected. Everyone was brilliant and supported me, spent more than usual time as I had no experince. I passed all modules, and got my diploma. All staff and lectures were excellent. Course work was very handy and also websimnar was great to give me extra boost and confidence. What more can I say, Thank you Metadat. I am now employed as a Process Analyst. Mehul Bhatt

I chose metadata because of their central London location and the duration of the courses offered (3 days or weekend options). The training was well structured and organised, with the pace being set by the instructors according to the overall group. It's obvious the trainers know their stuff, having worked for many years in the profession they are teaching, and they're really good at relating examples from the course content to the type of roles of the attendees. The course covers everything needed to take the exam at the end with a nice little session to recap before the actual test, and the handouts and homework are really useful. I've recently changed careers, from being a Web Manager (16 years) to a Business Change Manager after attending some of the Business Analysis course modules - and I plan to finish the Diploma course over the next year to cement my future in this new direction. The modular nature of the Business Analysis course enables you to learn in stages, working towards a final Diploma if you choose to, and the course structure/information is easy to follow. The Metadata offices are well laid out for training (and exams!) - and they throw in a really great lunch too! Brigitte Wilson

I have taken many courses with Metadata. I did the four courses for the certificates which counted towards my BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis, and the Diploma oral exam training (I passed the Diploma oral with no problems). I also did a couple of extra BCS certifications because Metadata were offering them. I have also taken the DSDM Agile PM and Agile BA Foundation and Practitioner certifications. I just love Metadata's training - the cost is very reasonable, the training material is excellent and all the trainers I have had have been excellent. I did not think training and doing exams could be so much fun and also interesting. I am sure that having those qualifications on my CV has made it stand out and helped me to find contracts (especially in these days of jon recuitment by keyword matching). These courses have been an excellent investment.
