“Unfortunately due to a misunderstanding on your website I did not receive my order for five days as opposed to the two days I was expecting. Although I had a polite response to my disappointment I felt unhappy about the situation. Why would anyone want cakes delivered five days after ordering.”

“Delicious almond fruit cake, way above any supermarket cake offerings. Good texture and of course, taste. The ginger cake I've had before so knew what I was re-ordering. Similarly splendid.”

“These little cakes were a gift for my sister who has just had major surgery. She enjoyed them very much and loved the cake tin that they came in. I have bought cakes previously from Meg Rivers and they have always been excellent and thoroughly enjoyed. Kind regards. Leonora x”

“The cake arrived when we said it would for our wedding day. We tried this cake and it was stunning. The cake itself was beautiful, everyone that had a piece of our wedding cake said it was beautiful. It was lovely. Definitely recommend.”

“My mum wanted a fruit cake for her 93rd birthday. It was a huge success. Everybody who had a slice was impressed with the quality - it was moist and very tasty. I'm now thinking of buying a smaller one for myself for Christmas.”

Good afternoon Iain I can see that your delivery took several days to arrive with you and longer than the two working days we allow for this service. I have refunded your delivery charges. Please accept my apology for the delay. Kind Regards Alice
