“The cake was a gift - Christmas Tart - apparently it was delicious, very rich so only need a tiny amount with a coffee or sweet wine, which was just as well as the tart is also tiny. I need to read the product details more carefully in future .”

“I expected a next day delivery on the birthday on Sunday but the cake was delivered after 3 days in weekdays. This means we cannot use Meg Rivers service if we want to deliver cake on Sunday”

Good Afternoon. I can see from you order that you placed it Saturday afternoon paying for Weekday delivery. We do not despatch Saturday or Sunday but sent your parcel next day on Monday when we were back in the bakery. We do not offer Sunday delivery and never have. I am sorry if you missread the Weekday delivery option expecting it to be send on a Sunday. Kindest, Meg Rivers Team

“We bought this for my son’s 18th birthday as he doesn’t like traditional birthday cakes, and really only loves lemon cake. He was over the moon! The cake arrived beautifully packed, and was so moist, flavourful and generally all round delicious that it was all gone in a couple of days and there are only 3 of us in the house! Would definitely order again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“I have given a 4 star not 5 as due to the Delivery! I would give 0 for dpd. My parcel from dpd was as they stated Left in Front Porch ! I do not have a Front Porch ! The Food Parcel was left outside on the floor at my farm front door, it was later in the afternoon that I saw the email informing me that is was in my Front Porch which I found confusing as explained above. I then went and opened my door to find in on my path, it was later afternoon and my Food Order had been there since 8.38 am as stated in email. Nobody rang my door bell I feel very disappointed the box was damp but thankfully the contents was well packed so I thank the packers, this could of been a Ruined Chocolate Cake & Shortbread. A Firm word should be had with dpd I think.”
