“Nice cake but something of a diappointment I'm afraid. I have bought cakes from Meg Rivers before and all but one of them have been divinely good (excepting the ginger cake which contained ginger ale and crunchy ginger on top and did not have a good flavour), so the fact that this one was nice but not heavenly was dispiriting. If I were not used to their usual fabulous creations I would have found this one to be solidly good. The best ever is the sticky ginger cake which sadly seems to be a limited edition. A pity because it is a thousand times better than the ginger cake which seems to be always available, but is rather second rate. The cherry, and the lemon cakes are fabulous.”

“I am enjoying the rich fruit cake that I bought from you that you can't find in supermarkets , it's lovely and moist and rich in flavour. The down side is it isn't going to last very long as I can't stop eating it. I'll be back.”

“Beautifully wrapped up and looked exactly like the photo. Delicious taste and was cut into 18 portions. Rich and chocolatey. The mini Megs were also delicious, moist and tasty.”

“Bought this for an anniversary gift for some lovely friends who love ginger. It was well received. The cake was light and moist and the tin is reminiscent of the 50's with the shades of green chosen. Also, the customer service is brilliant. I will use again.”
