“Service and delivery was excellent. Cake well packed and travelled well. However we have been buying the wonderful cherry cakes for many years from Meg Rivers. However, this last one was a huge disappointment. It was extremely dry and crumbly and the ground almonds were not finely ground as in the past. It was the almonds that used to give the wonderful texture but this was not evident on this occasion. On a plus side there were plenty of cherries as usual, but overall the cake was not of the usual standard.”
