“Cake is lovely but Royal Mail are totally hopeless. They notified me they would be delivering on 4 consequtive days. When they eventually did the box was badly damaged - as was the cake. I now have only 2 days to eat the cake before its best by date. Same happened on my last order.”

“I love the fact that the Meg Rivers Bakery uses 'proper' ingredients - butter and fresh eggs for example. I've looked at the ingredients used by a lot of 'cakes by post' firms recently, and was disappointed to discover that most, including well-known and supposedly up-market ones, use dried eggs, margarine, vegetable oils or even palm oil in their recipes.”
