“I loved thes cakes. I was cautious because I often find fudge cakes to be much too sweet. These were perfect. They were as delicious as they looked, and were beautifully packed despite being a Bakery Blunder!”

“Meg River's cakes beats any other cake company for quality,freshness,taste. The only cake company that uses ingredients that one would use at home for baking. No preservatives or funny E numbers! Was so impressed with all 3 cakes I had ordered.”

“My friends in Somerset were so pleased to have a cherry cake out of the blue!!! They sent me a photo of them enjoying it with a cuppa so thank you and for getting it there the day after I ordered it!! “We were absolutely delighted with the wedding cake we ordered from Meg Rivers for our special day. We ordered the single tier 8 inch Celebration Fruit cake and layered it with the single tier heart celebration cake. We changed the ribbons to match our theme and it looked amazing, pretty but simple, just what we wanted and amazing value. Despite being a bit hesitant about ordering a wedding cake by post, we were pleasantly surprised by how well it arrived. The packaging was secure and the cake itself was in pristine condition. I have waited a little while to review, as I wanted to have tasted the cake, and I can now confirm it tastes incredible! A delicious moist fruit cake with generous layers of marzipan and icing that add the perfect touch of sweetness. Luckily we had a big piece left to bring home but I’m going to be very sad when it’s all gone!”
