“The gin & lime cake had a lovely flavour but the one I got was pretty difficult to slice without it collapsing into crumbs. Pity it was a nice idea Came beautifully packaged as always”

Dear Louise, I am sorry to hear your Gin & Lime cake was crumbly, I do hope you were able to enjoy it regardless. Kindest, Customer Care

“Delicious cake. Great success with the children and staff on a recent primary school visit. Lots to go round.”

“Ordering this cake couldn’t have been easier on the website. It was delivered on the day requested and packed very well. It was however delivered on it’s end and I couldn’t see anything saying “this side up” but this had no effect on the product itself.”

“Great service. By fluke I happened to be at the recipients when it arrived - well packaged and on time! So I got some - utterly delicious rich fudge and with chocolate chips and gold stars! Five gold stars to Meg Rivers!!”

Thank you for taking the time to post a review Dianne. I'm so pleased the Blunder was a hit despite the missing topping! Best wishes, Alice.

“Although this was a bakery blunder cake I did not feel the texture of the cake was up to Meg Rivers usual high standard being rather dense and heavy. This is the first time I have bought a bakery blunder cake and it has rather put me off buying another.”

Dear Anonymous, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Like you say this was sold a blunder so not up to our usual standards hence the discounted price. Kindest, Customer Care

“I got loads of compliments on the quality of the cake - really pleased with the service too, very helpful customer service department who gave excellent advise about delivery timing. This was a plain cake we wanted to decorate with flowers, and it looked perfect and I thought the price was very reasonable.”
