“Bought a Phoenix concertina, excellent instrument, my others just don't get played anymore. Lovely sound and so nice to play with the delrin buttons. Im at intermediate levrl and cant see that I will ever want a different box. Was delivered to Portugal very quickly.”

“I loved the opportunity to put together my own bodhran with McNeela's kit of quality parts and great instructions. I also appreciate the thoughtful and informative occasional emails from the shop. There is so much information, thoughtfully written. You clearly care about music and go to great lengths to encourage and support prospective learners with your newsletter emails and great videos of demonstration and instruction. In the end, I commissioned a drum direct from a wonderful Irish maker, but I wouldn't have known where to start with it or felt such a kinship with the instrument if I hadn't started with your DIY bodhran kit, and I continue to appreciate the continued correspondence around Irish trad music and instruments. You're clearly in it for the love of music and not just the business. As a lifelong musician and teacher, I thank you for your exceptional give-a-damn. It can feel hard to find these days.”

“I live in the US. In April 2023 I ordered and received a new English Sparrow concertina from McNeela. One of the keys sometimes stuck, and I didn't feel comfortable operating on it myself. Ana in Customer Service gave me instructions for mailing it back to McNeela for free repair and also reimbursed me for the cost of mailing. She kept me informed of when it arrived and when repairs were completed and it was shipped back. The entire process was smooth and took 2 weeks. My concertina is as good as new - better actually! I'm very impressed with the service I received from McNeela. I also love my Sparrow concertina! It's wonderful when a seller stands behind their products, and McNeela does.”

“Purchased a low A whistle from McNeela music , it arrived quicker than scheduled. The whistle had a very small imperfection on the mouthpiece and l was immediately offered a replacement or a very generous discount. The service from McNeela music was excellent that's why lm giving five stars .”

“I purchased a "Wild" tinwhistle a couple of months ago, and I can honestly say it's one of the best instruments I own. It has a beautiful tone, and the high octave is clear with no screechy notes. The rolls are crisp and clear and I love the black matt finish. I will definitely recommend it to others.”
