“I asked a quote in a second bike and ended up saving over £500 by swapping insurers and combining both bikes on one policy . I am very pleased as it paid for my new helmet . I would definitely recommend giving MCN compare a go. Spending a few minutes of my time definitely paid off.”

“I decided to shop around this year. I ran my details through MCN compare and found loads of policies with equal or better cover for over £100 less than my renewal quote,even my current insurer had quoted me less on MCN compare than my renewal. Decide to change provider. Took me straight to the insurance providers site, new insurance done in minutes and unlike some car insurance sites I paid the quoted price. Big thumbs up from me. Thanks I will use again next year Richard”

“Not having risen for 35 years without a no claims my quotes meant not getting back to biking. MCN’s was bearable. Hopefully next year with no claims or a cheaper bike it will be much more affordable”

“No money saved but at least they found me some form of cover! To explain, I’m a recent owner of a Surron L1E, insured fully comp last year but no renewal quote was offered to me this year (first time in 30+ years that this has ever happened to me btw). When I called them to investigate, was told that they don’t insure “those type of bikes anymore”. Life was so much simpler living with my zx10r!? Had hoped that getting a wee e-bike was the way forward (‘bikes with fuel injection aren't much fun with the risks of blockage from rubbish modern fuel - oh how much do I miss carburettors which could be removed, cleaned and refitted)? However not having fully comp cover, let alone cover for fire or theft (aghhh!), am not so sure :( Hope this “live market” that keeps being mentioned by brokers, actually works in my favour next year (not sure I feel confident taking the wee e-bike out and about with such minimal cover this year). The joys of our modern world eh? :|”

“It's always worth getting quotes through MCN Compare as you can often save money on your renewal quote. It's a little more hassle providing your info and licence details to the new insurer but you get the same cover for less cash.”

“I was trying to get a quote but as I didn't know the reg (I haven't bought it yet )it said I had to ring you to get a price .very irritating as I have no desire to potentially spend ages on the phone waiting to speak to you. Why couldn't you just give me a price??”

“I found MCN good and renewals were competitive for two bike insurance... until I changed my needs (sold 1 bike so only needed remaining 1 bike insuring) Quote I received from very pleasant agent on the phone was not competitive at all so went elsewhere. Never had any reason to claim so don't know how good/bad that would have been.”

“So fare it’s been good , I had problems with my last insurance company getting my prove of no claims which I might add I have been insured with then for over 10years and been treated poorly . MCN was contactable to notify the situation . I’m talking about dealing with a real person on the phone not a computer. MCN has given me a bit of confidence that not all insurance brokers are rip of merchants.”
