“Initially unable to provide cover for an electric motorcycle. It was only after I wrote to the editor of MCN that I was offered cover. Even then £350 for 1000 miles per year seemed rather expensive.”

“Using MCN cut my insurance bill from nearly £300 to £90 for my R1100RT. That's like for like. Why I had never thought of doing this before I will never know. Company loyalty I guess and it's easy to just renew year on year. The bottom LINE is not to go DIRECT to the same old company, but to use MCN to Compare.”

“When you first take out the insurance you get hassled by emails stating you haven’t sent this or you haven’t sent that, once that is supplied everything goes quiet without any issues, I was surprised at the cost of a renewal, no accident no TOR but still get stung with high prices.”

“Used MCN Compare for check against my renewal. Found that I could get the same cover from a different company for about £110 against my existing companies renewal of about £175. I always use MCN at renewal time. The benefit of comparing may not be so useful in the future when the new rules (cheaper deals for new customers) are implemented, soon.”
