“Firstly, Callum on Customer Service was wonderful. He was polite, helpful and managed to obtain items initially not available. The service was excellent and goods arrived earlier than expected. Many thanks”

“Poor, do not recommend. After waiting several working days I had not received the product ordered, or even a dispatch notice. I contacted customer services via the online web form, but received no answer. It needed a telephone call 6 days after my initial order with payment taken, to get Maxwells to let me know they were awaiting stock delivery. To their credit, once stock arrived item was sent next day delivery. Will not use again, until they improve 'no stock' handling and notification.”

“Ordered on the basis on next day delivery but when I checked the tracker my order hadn't even been despatched the next day. Given the high charges, I'd expect a much smoother delivery experience.”

“Bit premature as I haven't received my goods yet. I would have preferred a time limit on when the courier will deliver and would have paid extra for that privilege. It his way I have to stay in ALL day as no one in your company has any idea when they will deliver and you can't really ask a neigh out to take in 70 litres of compost!”

“Very speedy despatch of my order and very competitive price. I am in the Far North of Scotland and was not penalised by Maxwells for being here ! Many other firms charge extortionate costs for delivery So BIG thank you to Maxwells, I will recommend you.”

“Excellent service and next day delivery too! You had in stock the shade of paint I needed to complete the job, which is more than could be said for B & Q who despite their size and clout can't be bothered to stock the complete range of colours of Sandtex masonry paint. Their attitude was "take it or leave it" ................. so I left it! Thanks once more for your excellent service.”
