“I recently purchased some clover seeds, a selection of wildflower seeds and some daisy plugs. Not being very green fingered, I wasn't holding out much hope for success! However, I followed the instructions, and everything seems to be growing happily in my garden. I am thrilled and once these are established, will come back for more goodies to continue my quest for a wildlife haven. Thank you Meadowmania, I would definitely recommend you to other wildlife lovers.”

“I came across MeadowMania by a random internet search. I have now purchased numerous herbs from them (both plug and potted plants). All the plants arrived securely packed and healthy. All have been planted out successfully. The staff were very helpful and informative when I sought advice., and promptly informed me when out of stock plants were back in stock. Highly recommended.”

“For seventeen years, I have proudly volunteered with Walk Wheel Cycle Trust along a beautiful stretch of the National Cycle Network, from the North Yorkshire seaside village of Staithes through to the Tees Barrage crossing. Weekends have been spent clearing paths, repairing surfaces, cutting back growth, helping cyclists, walkers and families, and caring for the route so many now enjoy every single day. But recently, something even more special has begun to happen. In 2023, 37,000 cyclists rode this section of the NCN1. Across the farm field margins and wildlife corridors beside NCN1, we have started creating native wildflower habitats. Areas once quiet and bare are slowly beginning to hum with life again, bees, butterflies, birds and colour returning to the pathways that connect our coast and countryside. Walk Wheel Cycle Trust. Naturally, this work comes at a cost. Proper native wildflower seed is expensive, but it is vital if we are to create genuine habitats that support local biodiversity for generations to come. The National Cycle Network is far more than a cycle path. It is a green artery through our communities, a refuge for wildlife, and a place where people can reconnect with nature, exercise and peace of mind. Walk Wheel Cycle Trust.
