“Been buying my wildflower seeds from Meadowmania for over 10 years now, so first place I went to, to source my pollinator friendly mix for next year. As ever Meadowmania had the mix I wanted in the quantities I required at a very reasonable price. Seeds were delivered within 3 days, have been sewn and we shall see what comes up next year, but seeds from Meadowmania have never disappointed me yet!”

“Ordered 2 typres of grass seed (shade and paretial shade). Arrived on time, well packed, with a small advice booklet which was helpful for a novice like me. I have already sowed the seed, but its too early to see any results at moment, but service from Meadowmania was very good.”

“Delivery was quicker than expected, allowing us to seed in good time. We seeded on to completely bare patches with only a small amount of top soil preparation. In just over a week, the first shoots started to appear, and 3 weeks later, we now have a fairly good coverage. We are looking forward to spring, and hopefully a lovely clover lawn.”

“I messaged Meadowmania for advice, we have poor soil, next to woodland and the area is shaded by a building for most of the day. Jane recommended the grass seed for partial shade and less than 2 weeks after sowing the seed we have a really good growth of grass coming though. Very happy with the seed and the service too!”

“You wouldn't believe the trouble iv been through to get a colourful wild flower display without grass..this is the only so that has true colours of wildflowers without grass...and amazingly still in bloom in late October”

“Hi, Meadowmania are completely trustworthy and respond quickly to enquiries. I've been purchasing wildflower seeds for a number of years and the seeds have been excellent quality. Because of a couch grass problem I've rotavated the meadows in Autumn then again in springtime broadcasting new wildflower seeds. The weather has ruined the meadows two years; the first time terrific wind flattened the lot so I strimmed to clear them. This year the weather struck again; this time a drought here in Yorkshire and an hosepipe ban which is still in place. Unfortunately only the couch grass did well hence I bought plenty of Yellow Rattle seeds from Meadowmania hoping to combat the couch grass problem. My meadows are in my large rear very steep garden on a valley side exposed to extremes of weather. I'm now 78 and have rotavated again but I'm now experiencing more difficuly controlling the heavy petrol rotavator so I've sadly had to admit defeat before I end up in A&E. I've now gone over the lot with weedkiller and I'll keep using the weedkiller until I'm clear of the couch grass then I'll turn the meadows into an English Country Garden. Please don't let me put anyone off having or creating a wildflower meadow; circumstance are forcing my decision; I'm heartbroken because my beautiful wife of 48 years passed away in March; I created the meadows for her to enjoy as did all who saw them in full bloom. I need to embrace my new single life but the meadows as they are have become too much for me and I don't want to end up with the couch grass fully taking over. I can highly recommend Meadowmania as I've done many times. Kindest regards, Colin.”
