“I purchased these lights to replace a row of older tungsten spotlights where two of the fittings had been scorched by heat from the tungsten bulbs that had been on for a long period whilst the room was unattended. They work well but are not as attractive as expected, and there are no fabric seal washers in place which would improve the fitting. Otherwise, a reasonable replacement at minimal cost and will be far less likely to scorch the fittings.”
