“I bought a Dyson AM09 fan-heater from Lunneys. It was cheaper than almost any other supplier I could find and postage was included in the price. Delivery was quick and the box was handled without damage. The fan was UK specification with the correct plug and I had no problem registering the 2-year guarantee on the Dyson UK website. I am very happy with the AM09. It is very expensive for a fan heater, but I bought it for its looks and small footprint. With looks a major consideration it is regrettable that Dyson do not allow UK customers to benefit from the full range of colours including the blue/grey that the USA appears to have and maybe add a pink/grey as well. Given the choice I would have bought a blue/grey. Although this is called the Dyson Hot and Cold it should be noted that this fan only has a heater (around 2kW) it does not have an air conditioning plant in its tiny case (even though for the price you might expect it has!). The cool setting simply blows the air in the room about without altering its temperature - it relies on the evaporation of your perspiration to cool you down. I am hoping that in winter we can set it on the non-heat mode to stir up that air in our room and prevent the hot air from the radiators layering at ceiling level.”
