“I was pleased with the report by Cartwright Hands. Their surveyor found defects which we had not discovered. As a result of his investigation and recommendation on the value of the bungalow, we decided to withdraw our offer and look for another property in South Warwickshire. We are sure he has saved us a lot of problemsand finance. Many thanks for his help.”

“A bit of a "Compare the market" for surveyors. It is a good site avoiding the endless phoning around to find a surveyor. My only small criticism is that after checking reviews and choosing a surveyor the only dates eventually available and were for a date we are aiming to complete our move. As the survey was a homebuyers we decided to abandon the survey and ask a local reputable builder to give his opinion. I would not advise going for a house without a survey but the only things I was really worried about would have returned as an advice to have it checked by an expert and I saved the money by using a friend who is 50+ years in the building trade.”

“The portal was quick and easy to use, I reviewed all the quotes and spoke to many of the surveyors and chose Oluwaseun Rotimi MRICS (07985766968). Mr Rotimi provided excellent communication, a timely appointment, quick turnaround for the report and I didn't need to do a thing, everything was sorted between the surveyor and the estate agent! I would definitely recommend the portal and the surveyor, it saved me a lot of time!”

“We were contacted by 5 surveyors firms with surveyors in the area, by email. Two followed up with phone calls. We chose one who visited the property the next day, phoned us immediately after his visit with a summary of most important findings and told us to expect report by email within 5-7 working days. In fact he report arrived within 4 working days.”

“one quote offered to match a like for like offer but when challenged declines another tenderer gave a quote but did not return phone messages querying what was included. very disappointed and found a local person to do the work”

“I received a list of 3 quotes for local surveyors for my HomeBuyer survey. The 1st said that the quote was wrong and it would cost me another £100 according to their scale -I declined. The 2nd said it could only do it after 3 weeks and that the price wasn’t from their website, so they’d send me a new quote -I declined. Luckily the 3rd, agreed with the quoted price and conducted the survey within 3 days!”

“Whilst looking for a Surveyor I visited this site and though called "LOCAL" Building Surveyors this not necessarily the case. Most of the services offered say 'We serve your area' but they are not local. To me Local means within 10 to 15 miles whereas almost all the proferred surveyors were 60 or 70 miles away.”

“Tried to contact Ken Howson, he said he could not hear me on the phone and disconnected the call. Emailed him but no response. We did not contact Your Survey as their service seemed too impersonal.”

“Immediate provision and reasonable choice of local surveyors; price varied quite widely for similar service. One very pushy company who kept calling to tell me that I must book early as "appointments are filling up fast for next week". (I used another surveyor)”
