“Called me to talk about my enquiry which was good, most expensive quote but I thought the service would be better. Was advised to have a homebuyers survey. Felt the survey didn’t really tell me anything I couldn’t see myself. Just a tick box form.”

“The surveyor we instructed Steve Purcell did not send the survey report onto us. We had to request it after 10 days. He listed some items around the outside of the house and garden we are buying that needed attention. He did not indicate how much this might cost or how long it might take a builder to rectify. Alarming, we viewed the property again and found a dozen bricks had crumbled away on the first course of brick work on the outside of the garage. The surveyor HAD NOT notified us of this. I emailed to ask if he could give me an idea of cost to rectify the problems but did not get a reply. I had to call the office and he answered my email. He reply said he could not help. So I would not recommend Your Survey and certainly not Steve Purcell.”

“I didn't find the website particularly easy to use. I didn't believe that there is only one surveyor locally. Instead I used the surveyor reccomened/listed byeithrr the solicitor or estate agent.”

“Very happy with the service I received. I was able to book an appointment in week with ease and have the report sent to me with in a few days. The report is very detailed with pictures and the surveyor was happy to answer question about the report afterwards. Highly recommended.”

“Very easy to use, submitted details and what I needed and received several quotes that gave me a good idea on different surveyors and the services they offered. I had excellent communication from Nest chartered surveyors, via email and decided to use them even though they were not the cheapest but still very competitive. Easy to book and informative phone call from the surveyor after he had completed his survey. A few days later I received the full report.”

“The website service to request surveys worked well and I received 5 quotes quickly. The surveyor i selected (daviesrural) initially responded well and performed the task in good time. Unfortunately service then disappeared. It took 4 weeks of reminders to persuade her to send us an electronic report and another week (and reminder) for a hard copy. Of the many reminders sent the only one she replied to was when I included "at least have the courtesy to reply". A shame because I think she actually did a reasonable job.”
