“We used a company called YOUR SURVEY and we would not recommend them because when you contact them reference your surveyors report you get a call centre who fob you off with a scripted excuse and we got the same reply on three separate calls when we e-mailed the surveyor we got no reply from him and waited a total of 8 working days for our report”

“I felt overwhelmed by their responses, which smacked of trying to get in ahead of the competition. These were phrased in such a variety of ways that I became somewhat confused and finished up having to disappoint one of them because I had already agreed to another's offer. It would be better if a click on my screen called up a list of your members with a brief indication of what they offered for what price, and NOTHING ELSE until I contacted them either for more information or to do business. I am now awaiting the results of a survey from one of your members, thank you. My overall rating is, of course, based on internet exchanges only. It may change after they have done the survey!”

“The experience with Leo was great from the moment we sent the request for the quote to when we received the report. It was fast, professional and diligent. The report was comprehensive and included an useful list of repairs with traffic lights. Price was very competitive too, for less than £1k we got a building valuation report including restatement cost and house valuation. We had some further questions and they were answered almost immediately . Thanks Leo Laura and Rich”

“The website gave me no clue as to the specialization of the various surveyors or, whether my problem would fall within the scope of surveyors. I needed someone to advise on the VA.decision to split a domestic reference into two parts and, to question the rating of each if it were decided to be a valid decision. Martin Dawson.”

“Found the process expensive and not fit for purpose , he did not enter the loft due to access restriction , Gave vague recommendations eg this is an old building would recommend a structural survey (did not say why ) . Anyway I was not impressed , so I asked a builder friend to have a look , he gave me a list of faults and how to rectify - brilliant and I owe him a beer .”

“Very useful website for finding a local surveyor. However I was a bit too ahead as I'm not quite ready to instruct a surveyor yet and so I didn't appreciate all the immediate phone calls trying to sign me up! I have kept all the information though and will use it at a later date once offer been accepted.”

“I was very impressed by this service which provided five quotes. The surveyor I opted for provided a very competitive quote, was able to survey the house the following week during which I met him at the house and he identified to me the main issues of concern and he provided an on-line report a week later. The complete process took just two weeks.”

“Only 1 surveyor found by search criteria. This surveyor failed to respond to email enquiry and I was unable to contact by 'phone. I ended up using surveyor recommended by estate agent.”
