“Lovely smelling shampoo bars. I’ve been using a high street store bar for a couple of months and wanted to find a cheaper alternative and these are perfect. These are locally produced to me and kinder to the environment...I won’t be going back to the others I was using! Added bonus is that over the Christmas period I have seen these in a local Boots and Sainsbury’s so I bought some for friends & family.”

Hi Jahanara! Thank you for taking the time to post a review, and for giving our products a try. We're sorry you felt disappointed by our products. We thought we'd better hop on and explain why they can have a more delicate level of scent. We have a commitment to only using pure natural ingredients, which means that everything is scented with pure essential oils. There can also be a slight variance between batches in the exact nature of the scent or the strength of it. For us, it's part of the beauty of a totally natural product. Plus, there is the added bonus of aromatherapeutic benefits from those essential oils. We know some other high street names pack more of a punch with their fragrances, but it's because that's just what it is: synthetic fragrance. So those types of ingredients are off our menu. We're not trying to change your mind, because we know everyone has different tastes and we are 100% for that! But we are glad you gave us a chance to highlight this point to any prospective customers out there reading these reviews. It helps everyone find what's right for them, so thank you again.

Hi Anonymous! Thank you for taking time to give us 4 stars. We thought we'd mention a couple of tips that might help lengthen the life of your shampoo bar if you're kind enough to repurchase with us. Bars will last longer if they really dry out between uses. A soap dish with drainage holes,or to a lesser degree ridges will prevent it sitting in moisture and going a bit mushy. It's a good idea to lather up the bar in your hands thoroughly, and then apply it to your hair where needed, rather than rubbing the bar directly on to your hair. That way, you are getting less product into your hair. If you've got long hair, you'd probably need to do the step of lathering in your hands a couple of times to get enough worked into the hair. Finally, as our bar doesn't contain SLS and so is less irritating to your scalp, you may find you can drop down the frequency of your hair washing a little. This isn't true for everyone, but it will work for some people. Thank you for taking the time to review us.

“Not used soap as it was a gift but liked the fact that it was for sensitive skin and packaged nicely in a box of 4. Their website didn't let me set up an account and didn't send a confirming e mail so phoned and was given an indication of delivery time. Both ladies I spoke to were very courteous. Tried to do a further order but was out of stock so had to use another retailer. Unfortunately, it was back in stock the next day so may order again after festive season”
