Little Soap Company dispatched the soap too late, so I couldn’t receive it before my flight. Since you use Royal Mail Tracked 48, the delivery should have arrived within 2–3 days. However, I placed my order on the 14th, and according to the Royal Mail app, it wasn’t dispatched until the 19th. I didn’t receive any tracking reference from Royal Mail—no email or message. The first delivery attempt was on the morning of February 20th, the same day I had a flight at night. If I had received a tracking reference, I could have collected the parcel. I only found out the delivery status after contacting your customer service. The soaps were meant to be gifts for my family back home.

Hi Anastasia - am saddened by this review. We have been emailing back and forth since you ordered - it’s quite a long thread! Factually, your order was placed and shipped out first thing Monday 17th February. Usually Royal Mail 48hr is what it says. However, according to the tracking info, delivery was first attempted on 20th February, but no reply. It was then attempted again on 21st February and was marked as delivered. You said you’d not received it. As we explained we then searched the GPS coordinates of the delivery location that is shown on the tracking, and it showed that it was delivered to the correct place with a photo. You confirmed it had been delivered to a flatmate in an email. You then emailed again today saying you had now got it from a neighbour. I am so sorry Royal Mail delivered it a day later - we are at the mercy of couriers but believe we have done all we can our end to help you find the parcel last week? As we said on the emails today we are so happy for you to return in damaged for a refund.

Failed at lalmost every step of the way; Sent email thts goods were despatched One week later, Royal Mail had still not received goods Contact LSC, who, to all intents and purposes, deny any issue. A couple of days later, still no goods, contact LSC again LSC say thel'll re-send with tracking number, 'tomorrow' Tracking number not sent. Contact LSC AGAIN, and get new tracking number. Finally, goods arrive after 14 days, when it should have taken no more than three. Can't enter the correct value for response time (not offered but was between 12 and 24 hours All in all, nought out of ten Really? I *have* to give them one star? Ridiculous

Am sorry you felt the need to post this Brad (along with the rather aggressive emails to my colleages). As you know from the email thread, you contacted us saying your parcel hadn't arrived which we can only apologise for. All our deliveries have 48hr tracking on, the details you received yourself upon ordering. It turned out Royal Mail had lost the parcel which my colleague explained - she immediately put a replacement order out to you and upgraded this to a 24hour service (all at our cost) which we can see you took delivery of the next day! Please let us know how we could have done things differently and helped you any more? Emma

I place an order of over £35 on the 14/12/23 and it’s the 1st of January 2024 and I’m still waiting for the items, I’ve been trying to get in touch with your customer service via email and by phone but there is no way of getting in touch. I would like a refund since I haven’t received my goods that was meant for Christmas presents.

Little Soap Company is paying lip service to customer service. My recent order was left in the refuse bin, contrary to my wishes, and when I raised the matter I was fobbed off. This is the second time it's happened, and the company won't take any responsibility let alone apologise.

Mr Ahmed – I am sorry you felt the need to write this. You emails were brought to my attention both times and I instructed the team to cease conversations as things were going around in a circle and your tone was nothing but abusive to them. We are so grateful of your orders, and like all web orders, small parcels are sent with Royal Mail – the fact your postman chose to put the parcel in your recycling bin with a note is something I am afraid we don’t have any control over and as we suggested in our dialogue is something to take up with them or Royal Mail direct. Misleading advertisement promised a free bar of soap when £30.00 was spent. Spent over £32.00 including postage. No free bar of soap. Promised free sample with every order. No free sample included. E-mailed query but response unsatisfactory.

So very sorry indeed to hear of this dispatch error, and the fact the response didn't rectify things satisfactorily for you. Excellent and timely delivery service is very important to us as part of our customer service, and it's disappointing to hear you didn't receive that from us.

We're able to say now that the response related to the level of spend, so the order was not eligible, just to confirm this: "We do offer a free bar of soap with all orders over £30, that applies when over £30 of products has been ordered. Looking at your order it was £27.94 plus postage. If the products ordered goes over £30 there is a selection part on the website ordering process where you choose which free bar of soap you would like, this does not appear until the £30 minimum order has been placed. Sorry for any confusion this may have caused." We hope this clarification is helpful to others reading the reviews.

I have previously used these products which were available in my local supermarket. Sadly they no longer stock The Little Soap company products. Hence my decision to purchase direct. However I was appalled to find my package also contained unwanted and unsolicited potentially dangerous items of nicotine !!! Whatever possessed them to think that was OK !!!

Hi Morris, thank you for your review but we are totally baffled as to what you mean by 'dangerous items of nicotine'. We obviously only post out our own products packaged in plastic free or recyclable packaging which do not contain any dangerous levels of anything - especially not nicotine. We thrive being an eco savvy health inducing brand. The only freebie is a free bar of soap we include for all orders over £30.

Ordered soaps as a gift and no email acknowledgment. Thought the purchase had failed and ordered again. Money taken from a/c for first order so immediately emailed to cancel the 2nd order within a day. Two orders then arrived and no reply to email. Bad customer service. Now left with a costly spare set of soap.

Not very well scented and even less so when in used! Will stick with L'occitane as they are wonderfully scented throughout!

Hi Jahanara! Thank you for taking the time to post a review, and for giving our products a try. We're sorry you felt disappointed by our products. We thought we'd better hop on and explain why they can have a more delicate level of scent. We have a commitment to only using pure natural ingredients, which means that everything is scented with pure essential oils. There can also be a slight variance between batches in the exact nature of the scent or the strength of it. For us, it's part of the beauty of a totally natural product. Plus, there is the added bonus of aromatherapeutic benefits from those essential oils. We know some other high street names pack more of a punch with their fragrances, but it's because that's just what it is: synthetic fragrance. So those types of ingredients are off our menu. We're not trying to change your mind, because we know everyone has different tastes and we are 100% for that! But we are glad you gave us a chance to highlight this point to any prospective customers out there reading these reviews. It helps everyone find what's right for them, so thank you again.
