The rabbit skin glue was under weight, however the whiting was slightly overweight as it should have been!!! The parcel must have been dropped because part no 6454 two of the 15 mm v nails cartridges had come apart (ie the retaining plastic had come out of the back of the catridge allowing the v nails to come lose) I put them back together. If the cartridges had been placed down wards and there had been a "this way up" label on the outside then this would have been more unlikely to have occurred and there would have been no fault on your part.

Our delivery was not made 'next day' as we had requested- (Lion were actually helpful although we did have to make 3 phone calls to Lion to keep chasing the delivery). The courier company were at fault but its reflects on the company as always. Great frames though so thank you.

I rang to enquire about display screen panel over hooks code 999. I was told to open an account on line and enquire by e-mail, which I did. I had no reply. I rang and spoke to customer service who apologised and confirmed it would be possible to send me a sample to check the size before ordering. I gave all of my details again. I was told a sample would be put in the post today? I heard nothing more. Two weeks later, on 23-02 2017 I received an e-mail to say my sample was being dispatched. It is now the 6th of March 2017. Nothing!

Unfortunately I have had a really bad experience with the couriers you use - when they arrived they were kicking the parcels in the back of their van and brought out my mouldings damaged an wet!! I signed for the package damaged and he was very rude and told me he had driven over 200 miles to get to me and was very cross. Then he drove over our lawn!! Even the replacements you sent today have wet damaged packaging. Some of the mouldings have dark holes in the wood and these should have been noticed by Lion when packaging. I am understandably very upset!! And I'm still waiting to here from Lion!!

been a customer for a long time but have gradually diminished our stocks of lion goods because of high prices and aggressive accounts dept.

The moulding was packaged well as usual. The mountboard was not however and was damaged. Packaged with Polystyrene at both ends and the placed in a large box the bound obviously flexed in transit and corners were damaged ( it was usable but had to remove a good 10cm from the board I have used. The boxes for the mountboard and the backing board were also damaged in transit - holes ( see my signed delivery message indicating 'Damaged boxes')- they had obviously been thrown around in transit. I have photos if required. I think I may well be using a different supplier for my boards in the future as don't want to risk the time wasted in getting damaged boards replaced.

As a former customer of Lion South I now find ordering stock from Birmingham both time consuming and expensive . I recently needed some T pins that had to be sent by courier and therefore cost double the price , clearly I cannot continue to do business in this way .

Packaging and brochure. In summary - The goods were ok, but the delivery is disappointing. Why pack a simple order in an oversize box with brochures. Weight of brochure 1.35kg Weight of goods 600g Cost of shipping £6.95 - that is too expensive for a simple order. It could have been put in a Jiffy bag. Not in a large box labelled Eco friendly. I bought on line - If you'd like me to have 1.35kg of brochure then give me the option not to pay the shipping cost. So, hanks for the promo code for free shipping on the next order. But, I am not a commercial customer, I last bought for a gallery some years ago, and that was over the counter at the Uxbridge outlet. best wishes, Ed

number of times I have used Lion and always same issues, poor product knowledge of sales staff, do not offer alternatives and all to willing to divert you to the website. Delivery's erratic and unreliable, good products but if they are not on time then they are no good to me. Your competitors don't seem to have these problems!

Although the mount card we buy is very good and keenly priced the packaging is not good enough. I have had 2 shipments damaged. Lion have replaced the damaged goods but I have to go to the trouble of taking pictures and waiting for another delivery, Also when I have emailed them about these faults they do not reply.

The 'Poor' rating reflects [as far as I can tell] the carrier rather than Lion, but there was no other way to draw this to your attention. We eventually received our goods on the 9th having been promised them on either the 5/6th. We had to make a number of phone calls to both Tuffnells and Lion as no one from either company had contacted us about the issues. I have taken photos of the condition of the packaging, which I can send if you need to see them. The contents were intact, but the only information we received was that paint had been spilled on the package and they were not prepared to transport it until it was dry in case it damaged other consignments on the van.

I received an order which was delivered yesterday but upon opening found some damage which I reported in an email yesterday. To this point (10.45am 1 Sep) I have had no response to my email. Please let me know if it was not received and I will resend. This is not the first incidence of damage and is often a result of poor care by carriers and their sub-contractors.

Quality of wooden mouldings. Often arrive damaged chipped with paint scratched off and sometimes with poor repairs. When I have the time I will find another supplier. The only reason i'm still using you is that Stephen Flanagan is extremely helpful. Martyn Barrow Castle, Pontefract.

I have placed an order with your company, my details have been mixed up with another customer here on the Islands who has got all the details of my order including how much I have paid etc, I have been approached by this person to say that they are trying to deliver the goods to him and for him to contact the courier, presumably as there is conflicting information between him and me. I have phoned and spoke to George who I initially placed the order with and complained, to which he said he would sort it. I still have not seen my order, which must be at least 2 weeks ago and to add insult to injury, this order has already been paid for! I am bitterly disappointed with the service I have received.

I will not be doing business with lion again..... The attitude of the gentleman Mr Allen Willocks was disgraceful huffing and puffing saying I've already made out the invoice ( this was because I wanted chopping ) oh I don't know I've just made out the invoice over and over again..... I wanted other items but because of this mans attitude I just wanted out .. I had travelled a long distance ( Meriden) ..... But won't be doing the journey again.... G.L.COSIER
