“Lion staff are nice, helpful and friendly. Lion business premises are smart, what is going in the street, I had to wade through junk, old tryers and rubbish to get to your front door, its like a war torn/third world country outside the front door. Get jabs before you go.....”

“I have bought from you before, as a DIY framer only. Yes all went well here. I just bought some discount mouldings and 3 corner filling putties. Useful on occasions. Your phone order service was very good, & the goods arrived next day. All fine thanks. I can only give you 4 stars as I don't agree with your £50 less VAT min order charge. Why do this? It suits framers in full time business but not guys like me.”

“Generally impressed by the service from Lion on my first order, just slightly let down by the inaccuracies of the web site stock controls. I got a phone call the day after order placement saying that the moulding (admittedly clearance stock) was in fact out of stock, this was disappointing.”

Dear Customer, Thank you for your feedback. Apologies in not being able to fulfil your order, with clearance mouldings they sell super quick and once they're gone they are gone! All stock mouldings and expected dates can be seen online before you place your order. Best regards, Lion.

Dear Customer, Thank you for your feedback. I can see your delivery was attempted next day but they were unable to deliver. Please note our external carriers automatically attempt to deliver three times (over three separate days) in total, excluding bank holidays and weekends and if unable to deliver they send the items back to us. “Lion is a great company to deal with, always friendly, responsive and quick to resolve any issues, not that there are many. The website is superb, it is so easy to order what I need. As a small picture framer's I really appreciate visit from the sales rep, especially as mine is an ex-framer. I'm not so sure about the speed with which Lion are starting to discontinue moulding.I'm encouraged to stock new mouldings, I promote them to my customers who often come back wanting the same to match, only to find that Lion no longer stock that new moulding. It makes me nervous about trying new mouldings - I would say that they need to stick around for a minimum of five years, my customers have long memories and short pockets. And the only other comment concerns the quality of moulding dispatched, both the colour matching and the incidences of dents, faults, etc. It's becoming more frequent that the colour doesn't match the chevron you've supplied. More care is needed, your business relies on my small business, look after me please. Deborah, Framed New Mills Ltd”

“Fine but I didnt need the catalogues. Im afaid I threw them out. What a waste. My house isnt big enough for them! Also the website said free postage but ordering by phone it was only free over £100. But my package did arrive next day as promised”

“Fast next day delivery on stretcher bars but always badly packaged so the box splits open. Key sizes often out of stock with no information on future delivery dates.”

“I think it took too long to dispatch the samples after I ordered them. I phoned on Monday or Tuesday but they were dispatched on Friday & they haven't arrived yet (Saturday). Also, it's v inconvenient that the shop is no longer open on Saturday. It means taking a day off work to visit.”

“I'm very impressed with the wide range of stock you supply, which will enable me to get everything I need without too much shopping around. However, I was disappointed I couldn't add to my large first order without incurring a delivery charge - some human intervention would've been welcome.”

Dear Customer, Thank you for your feedback. You can add to your order as long as we haven't picked and packed your order already. Orders placed before 12 we aim to despatch the same day - therefore they can be super quick in the warehouse! Best regards, Lion.
