“The average rating deprnds on when, and if, I receive a refund. I purchased what I thought were Daylight bulbs, but when I tried them, they were not anything like as bright as the bulbs I was seeking to replace. A closer inspection of the on-line ad showed them being described as 'daylight colour'. When I queried this, I was told that they hadn't been mis-described and that I could return them, in their original packing-but would have to pay for carriage-since my return was "due to a change of mind"!!! (Not, please note, because they did not fulfil the function for which they were purchased). I am now awaiting my refund (minus carriage)!! Not the way to attract repeat business Lyco!”

“Excellent service, delighted with the products. Ridicules amount of packaging on some of the items (2 small bulbs in a large box with bubble wrap). This is not a complaint but I feel it is a waste and could have easily been put all together in the larger picture light box.”

“I was kept informed of the date of delivery and the lights arrived on time and as expected. The lights were well packaged and were exactly as described on the website. The lights are excellent quality and they have really added tot the overall finish of our kitchen. I will certainly be coming back to Lighting - Direct in future.”

“Having to return a Tronco tall bollard light as it wasn't anthracite colour but a shade of light grey. Customer Services were helpful in looking at a different anthracite light bollard and I was told it was a similar shade of grey which was disappointing. However I've ordered one, it's an Edit Norin, and it's a much closer match to anthracite which is the name of RAL7016 colour. If you need anthracite then be careful.”

“I ordered an LED outside light with next day delivery. It arrived by DPD in under 24hrs and was well packaged with good protection. Unfortunately the first light failed when it was switched on (due to a faulty LED control unit) but these things happen. What was very impressive, and most welcome, was that Lighting Direct immediately replaced it, with no quibble, and with next day delivery. Their technical back up was also excellent and the second light worked fine. Very pleased with Lighting Direct's service and would thoroughly recommend them.”
