“The service was 5 star. I ordered a 4ft fluorescent tube - the first one arrived in bits. I was offered refund or replacement without any quibble - I opted for replacement, which arrived very quickly and in one piece. There must be a better way to package the tubes to avoid breakage though.”

“Very responsive, helpful staff. On the other hand it may be my fault but I did not realise VAT was not included in the price until the late stage in the buying process where all the costs are summarised. As price is key in choice of supplier, it would be reasonable to flag this issue from the start. I have not had the bulbs in use long enough to evaluate the quality of the brand and products I purchased..”

“No issues, the Crompton LED light bulbs I ordered appear to be of good quality. Their website has lots of useful info on LED bulbs too, including usage with dimmer switches. I contacted them about using my bulbs with dimmer switches and they were really helpful and provided me with some fact sheets.”

“I haven't install the Crompton LED lamps for long now so to early to say how good they are. I do like the idea of having a 4 year warranty though.All in all good value prices for the lamps.”

“I was recommended this company by a local shop to buy a specialist bulb (halogen oven bulb). The bulb was a good price and arrived promptly. My only criticism would be that it was a little over-packaged, it took me a while to find the small packet in the box of shredded cardboard! On the plus side it was all recyclable packaging with no plastic bubble wrap :)”

“I was in search of a light bulb for some late 1960s spotlights on a stand which I have had since I was a teenager and still cherish. The bayonet fitting for this particular style of bulb is now obsolete, but the light bulb manufacturers kindly referred me to LightBulbs Direct. I telephoned LBD and spoke to a very pleasant and knowledgeable lady. She guided me to the right page on their website where I was delighted to find the bulb that fitted my spotlight stand that I could order. The bulbs turned up and are as expected, but I was really impressed with the packaging inside the box which was shredded cardboard - so much better than the predictable polystyrene that comes with most fragile packaging. Have already forwarded on this website to other members of my family. A truly great find.”
