“Failed to comply with 3 days delivery on the Friday although they said they told the Operations Manager late delivery was not acceptable! Finally arrived the following Tuesday. Did give me a code for 5% off next order. This order was £3.70 (+£3.99pp!!)”

“I ordered these bulbs because they don't appear to be stocked by any of our local stores. Although this was a very small order your confirmation response was immediate, and your delivery exactly as stated. As far as I am concerned that equates to a first class service.”

“Four of the bulbs arrived broken due, in my view to poor packaging. I phoned and spoke to a very nice lady who explained that they always use Jiffy bags as boxes would not be suitable. She readily agreed to repllace the broken ones and this morning 10 new ones arrived in perfect order, well packed. Their customer service is excellent an it's good dealing with a UK company with realpeople..”

“Immediately after I had sent an oder I sent a second email asking to change bulbs from pearl to clear ones - same price and otherwise same spec bulbs. Lightbulbs Direct couldn't be bothered to change the order, or even to reply to my email. I will not use them again.”

“Ordered Sunday evening based on their promise of 2-3 days shipping (faster than Amazon). After Thursday post arrived and still no delivery, I tried to contact them. Phone number is a paid secretarial service, who can only (very slowly) take a message and they said call back could be a day or more. Contacted by web form instead. Reply was that it wasn't even shipped yet! They despatched later that day by Royal Mail tracked 48, and it turned up on Saturday. I ordered a pack of two starters, the first one I put in did not work, the light was dim and barely flickering. Luckily the second of the pair did work properly. Will not be ordering from them again.”
