“I ordered some light bulbs, which came. The only thing was one of the bulbs were broken, smashed in little pieces. It would help if the packaging was more padded out. I did get a replacement which was great. I would probably use them again.”

“The first florescent tube was broken in two in the packaging. You quickly responded by dispatching a replacement which was received intact within days. The packaging was no better and still without a "Fagile " sticker.”

“The ordering process was easy and delivery by Royal Mail was prompt. I ordered four fluorescent tubes for my kitchen under cabinet lighting. Although the items were very well packed unfortunately two of the four tubes arrived broken (they look intact but make the telltale rattling sound when moved). I contacted Lightbulbs Direct and with no quibbles at all they immediately posted out two replacement tubes. Unfortunately the new tubes were also both dead on arrival. I suspect that regardless of how well packaged these items are they are simply too fragile to be sent through the mail. I therefore didn't bother to contact customer services about the issue again. Given the service I received I would definitely use Lightbulbs Direct again but not for anything that is particularly fragile. Clearly the issues I experienced are beyond their control which is why I didn't want them to waste more money attempting to provide further replacements.”

“Very fast service & extreme well packed. Probably not the best & easiest website, but adequate. Postage & packing reasonable cost. A good company to work with but feel the website could be improved to help people changing to LED.”

“Ordering was simple and communications good. The products arrived in a timely manner with only slight damage to one box, products were fine. Majority of the packaging is easily recycled, would prefer the invoice loose inside the box instead of in a plastic wrapper stuck to the outside. The only slight disappointment was the packaging of the actual goods. Placing the items in the bottom of the box then covering them with protective stuff doesn't protect them, they need to be placed in the middle of the protective stuff inside the delivery box - don't worry though you're not the only company that does this and it wouldn't put me off using you again!”

“Excellent service with quick delivery. Bulb is bright on ‘white’ setting but much less so on ‘colour’. Good range of dimming and colours. Very happy with the company but would buy a more powerful bulb next time.”

“I ordered this light for my aunt, firstly because you deliver and secondly because you said I could track it. My Aunt is disabled and anxious so I was hoping to let her know, by tracking, when it was likely to arrive at hers. Unfortunately I could find no tracking, just an email saying it had left your depot. It was delivered by the postman one morning and just left outside her front door. I was disappointed with this. However, she needed the light for her bedside lamp and I am pleased to say that although she has knocked it over a couple of times getting out of bed, the light still works so must be quite robust!”

“Products fine - the right ones turned up. Only concern was that we were offered free delivery over £50 and then it said standard delivery 3-5 working days. So we didn't know whether free delivery was faster or slower. As we were leaving for our house in France and wanted the bulbs to take with us, this could have been a bit of an issue. As it happens, they turned up on time. It's not a big deal, but it would have been helpful to have a timescale for the free delivery on the order form!”
