Hope the alarm will work if my father falls out of bed, a very long document to complete with information about emergency contacts, so you will need lots of details

The pendant is great apart from the fact it is very heavy to wear for an older lady and the chain is too long and cannot be adjusted. An adjustable chain would be better. Also, I had to point out that ambulance must be called due to Mum's critical heart condition and not 111.

Staff were informative and friendly when making initial inquiries and when I had purchased and we were doing the test runs with my mother it was all made so simple and clear putting my mother at ease with how to use it

I have so far received about five test and notification calls from Lifeline over a period of about two weeks, which all seems very satisfactory; although it is not clear whether a cellular check by yourselves at about 9 pm last night (23 March) was initially successful in finding my location. Moments later, however, I received a comment that “ location has been sent”. My i-pad refuses to answer further parts of this questionnaire ! Sorry. Filmer Honywood

Love the concept and I purchased the Lifeline Vi alarm with MyAmie Pendant for my elderly mother, which I finally installed and tested last week. What I would say, is that when we went through the initial testing set-up, there were lots of beeps and my mother found it rather confusing and it was difficult for her to delineate between the recorded message and the actual call centre operative and she wasn't really sure when to speak. The other thing is that because the speaker on the Vi Alarm is quite small, she found the sound quite distorted and difficult to understand what was being said.

Telephone sales was excellent but not everything purchased arrived .paid for a key safe and didn’t receive it so the life line isn’t set up as I need the code for the key safe to do the online form . I have informed you of this but I’m now required to ring to sort it out . I don’t understand what’s to sort out I paid for something ,not received it, informed you

Very helpful,the original fault appeared to be with the ‘watch’ I had 29 ‘false‘ alarm calls in a month .A new watch wasn’t received so a second one was sent ,subsequently the first one did arrive.We then had the storms and the phone was off when BT sorted the landline out despite your help we couldn’t get the alarm to work .You eventually decided that it may have had a power surge and sent me a complete new unit free of charge .I’m pleased to say the system is now working ok and the old equipment has been returned as requested . Not had to call on it so far but I can say it was fairly easy to set up, although I felt that the registration form was somewhat onerous to complete. Also you may wish to consider a short menu type form, which can be easily downloaded, to inform the contacts so they know what's going on and give an idea as to what's expected of them?

Apart from a slight delay caused by some information provided by me on line apparently not being transferred to my application…… when I completed a paper application everything is now in order and I am very pleased with Lifeline.

Generally good but with some weaknesses. I live in a house with a bathroom upstairs. If I press the alarm button upstairs all communications are done from the box which is downstairs. I did try to buy a second box to put upstairs but this was refused. I am aware there is a GPS version but this is twice the price. I think the button could be more deeply recessed to avoid false alarms.

The package I received was a replacement box because the first one was not recharging,even though I had it only 6 months. This leads me to think that the first box was not a new one. I have the falls version which is ultra sensitive and very often goes off even if I don’t press it or in some cases, don’t even touch it. I find the telephone response is very good and reassuring.
