My mum has had this alarm now for the past year and we have found the people at the end of the phone very helpful, calm , patient and friendly. Everything needed was sent out quickly and arrived next day. It’s added peace of mind for mum and her family.

I have been so pleased with the reassurance I receive by having a pendant detector alarm. I have had 3 falls previously and it has activated the alarm, even when I was in my garden. However, I fell asleep while sitting on a bedroom stool, fell off and lay bewildered on the floor. I waited, lying on the floor, for the alarm to activate but it did not. Fortunately, I suffered only a couple of bruises. When I was able, I called customer services to find out what had gone wrong. I was surprised that the technical services dept., did not offer to test the alarm. I was told that I needed to be unconscious before it would activate! Following that, I ran my own test and was answered by a charming and helpful lady, who asked if I was OK and explained how the sensor works. I am disappointed that the device did not work for me on this occasion and would advise other users to be aware . I have to add that the device has no problem activating for no absolutely no reason on other occasions, so I can't quite understand the logic of the explanation. I am no longer so reassured by my Lifeline.

Nice, compact items. Fairly easy to understand instructions. Perhaps too many items to read. Elderly people like to keep things simple and clear. Suggest a booklet that contains all the instructions in one format rather than separate sheets of instructions. Also, try to be kind to our weakening eyesight. Make the print and diagrams really clear. Thank-you for the help and reassurance that I received over the telephone when needed.

We have only had the alarm less than a week but from ordering it and installing it all went well and the ladies we spoke to whilst testing were friendly and helpful. My mum is very happy with the watch rather than the pendent and feels much more reassured when going in the garden. So far so good.

Service was very good, alarm received within prompt timeline. Easy to set up and test. Only issue is the annual service plan which when being a existing customer you get a worse deal then being a new customer, to get the same offer you are expected to return the unit and receive another unit which is the same and is therefore a complete waste of time and effort to do. Please consider a better option for returning clients year on year!

2 alarms returned as both failed to work despite great efforts by your team members to help set them up.I have no complaint with the service I received - everyone I spoke to was very courteous and helpful - but I found the problems with the equipment very stressful and decided not to pursue the matter further. I am currently waiting for a refund of my payment of £210. Hazel Tozer.

Purchased for my Dad who is home alone recovering from a stroke.Arrived promptly, and very easy to set up. The response team and very efficient, professional and courteous - as within days my Dad triggered his alarm - and it was death with very well. The only gripe I have is the quality of the wrist alarm provided. The plastic strap appears a bit cheap and flimsey, I would have expected something a bit more robust like a silicone strap. Apart from that, I'd definateky recommend this system. It provides that all round peace of mind at a reasonable cost. As we've had to self-fund this was an important factor.

Good bit of kit though a bit clunky and heavy. It has a hair trigger so try not to catch it Great though I love it.

My unit was a replacement as the battery was too low in my old one. I am 87 years old very deaf and mobility is a problem. My family all live far away so I would have been grateful for help in setting up the new unit. A friend kindly helped in the end.

There were a few problems setting up the new alarm which I found difficult to manage, so I got panicky. This in itself leaves me more liable to fall. I think I dealt with 4 different responders, so had to keep repeating myself. I found the whole process very frustrating, particularly since I only got a new alarm earlier this year and would question the necessity for anothere.

I was perfectly happy with the service until I was forced to change my BT landline from the old copper wire to the new digital voice. The old analog Lifeline unit was not compatible. Tried with 2 new digital units supplied by Lifeconnect24. but still very intermittent service, not as reliable as the old technology. BT Openreach have replaced all the wiring inside my home and still nothing better. Have grave concerns that BT routers only;y have a backup with a battery (at an extra cost) for 30 to 60 mins in the event of a power outage. I live in an area with poor or no reliable GPS/mobile phone signal indoors. However, after numerous calls and various technical help from LifeConnect I finally, it would appear to have a system that works, with an analog box connected to the router. This will of course not work if the power goes off so I now have to have a fully charged mobile to hand at all times in the hope that there will be a signal, its less reassuring than ever, so will see if this system does improve as the digital rollout reaches its end point of Dec 2025. I would have given five stars but did need to contact the CEO of Lifeconnect before we have only this week arrived at this point, this started at the end of February when my home phone went digital. I now need to find a power source that will work with the router for longer than 30/60 mins in power outage..... the last power outage was off for almost 36 hours, the Life Connect has a battery, but of course, there is no copper wire phone to connect it too. Perhaps we need to return to semaphore flags. Wayne and Nick have been most helpful in this final set up but I need my faith restored that telephone providers and the telecare providers are working in partnership, Lifelines did provide just that, but now it could well be a matter of life or death.......a move backward in end-user support. If anyone has had problems finding solutions to improve the router emergency backup time..... i would welcome their comments. BT only offer their 30/60 min battery at a cost of £95 per unit, you can only purchase one and it takes 16.5 hours to recharge. Thank you...

The people I spoke to in Customer service and the alarm team were very helpful. This is the first time in having an alarm so I was confused and disappointed that when it arrived there were no instructions in the box on how to set up and connect to WiFi.
