First time in my life somebody selling me 1 earing ! I really didn't expect that, I've been thinking that 1 means 1 pair. Obviously disappointed. Also I couldn't return. Wouldn't recommend. For the same price you could buy 2 earing = 1 pair ! Also unbelievable small and thin. Again , i wouldn't recommend.

Bought a hoop earring that I put in my ears. Unfortunately, was very difficult to open the earring and it had to be opened with pliers. Not a good experience and my ears were quite red and sore at the end. Do not recommend.

The earring is MICROSCOPIC but apparently my daughter, who asked for it, knew that. I still worry she'll be disappointed when she opens it on Xmas Day though!

The earring I ordered for my daughter for Christmas at a cost of £75 and it is absolutely minute, I can’t exchange it for hygiene reasons but I am extremely disappointed

After wearing it for a couple months 2 of the gems fell out and the hoop tarnished and turned black I was expecting for my jewelry to last a long time since I spent so much money on it and it did not. I will never be getting anything from this site . I did contact y’all a good couple of months ago and said that it lost a gem and wondered if I could get a new pendant and y’all said y’all would get back to me and y’all never did.

Hi there, I'm really sorry to hear that you are disappointed with your new jewellery and our customer service. We're a small team of 5 and customer experience is incredibly important to our small business, we responded to your email enquiry earlier today sending you some helpful tips on how to fit our labret studs, it seems that you have been trying to fit the front threaded screw through your ear as if its a post and then screw in the back part which will be why your new labret stud doesn't seem long enough. Labret studs work by inserting the long back part in your ear and then screwing in the front threaded gem to attach both parts together. We do include all of the product measurements, pictures of each of our earrings in various ears and details of how labret studs work on each of the labret products on our website but are always on hand to help if our customers have any other questions regarding fitting their jewellery. Item was beautiful but unfortunately despite being fitted by a professional item was lost within a day so I can only assume the threading was insufficient to secure item

All of our labret studs are checked twice to make sure they close securely as normal before being dispatched so this sounds really unusual. They are really gorgeous but if you have thick skin/cartilage don’t bother. I took the piercings I bought to a piercing shop and they were too small to fit in any of my piercings. $250 down the drain, I even asked if I could get a new piercing and put them in it but they said it is too short for any piercings new or old. Please don’t waste your money or at least ask a piercer if your skin/cartilage is thin enough first!!!

I'm really sorry to hear that the earrings you purchased are too small for your intended piercings/ear cartilage. We stock labret studs in both 6mm and 8mm sizes, knowing what size you need for body jewellery can be tricky so we always advise our customers to check with a piercer before purchasing to avoid any disappointment. We include this advice on every one of our product pages and on our returns policy page. As you ordered your jewellery in 6mm post lengths, you may find that an 8mm post will be more suitable length wise for your piercings. We're looking into offering separate 8mm backs in the near future for our customers to purchase so that they can mix and match the fronts of their labret studs should they need a longer size. We'll release more details about these to our mailing subscribers and on our socials when we have an update. I spent £300 on 3 single earrings & was initially thrilled with them. The first earring, a 6mm diamond cuff lost a diamond before I had even got the earring in. Not impressed & extremely annoyed that I had spend so much.

Really disappointed with my purchase as I was all excited about a new earring. The stud itself is beautiful and when the two parts of the stud are together the post is 6mm, however, the front part of the earring is shorter than that, such that it doesn’t reach through the hole to marry up with the earring back. So I can’t use the earring

Hi Helen, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I'm really sorry to hear that you haven't been able to wear your new jewellery. Our labret studs have a back post of 6mm and a front thread of 4mm. The way to fit a labret stud is to insert the back post through the back of the piercing first and then once the front of the post is visible in your piercing hole, you can then screw in the front until it is fully tightened. If a customer is having trouble fitting their jewellery, we would always recommend them to visit their local piercer who should be able to help you fit it without causing any damage to the jewellery and ensuring it is fitted securely and correctly. You can always call ahead to check that they offer this service. Hopefully once you have visited a piercer to get the jewellery fitted correctly, your piercing will fit the 6mm size of earring that you purchased. Firstly the earrings are very pretty. It is probably my fault for not reading the sizing correctly but these earrings are almost microscopically tiny! The other thing is that the earring posts have to be pushed through the back of your ear to the front. This just doesn't work on my ears for some reason. The decorative bit of the earring then has to be screwed on. I assumed wrongly that the heart-shaped back would be the bit to screw in when the earring post had been pushed in the front of the ear. So I have spent nearly £300 and the earrings can't be returned for hygiene reasons which I knew but still very disappointed.

All of our jewellery is designed to be dainty, unlike the standard chunky and industrial style body jewellery that first started the trend. Our founder Laura struggled to find feminine, dainty solid gold body jewellery so this was premise to her starting her business. Although our jewellery does look super tiny in the box, once fitted in your ears they will look to proportion of your ears - our customers usually love the daintiness of them! Because we understand labrets can be a bit technical and tricky to fit yourself, we include a picture on each product of the mechanism and fastening so that our customers understand how they fit. We do always recommend going to a reputable piercer to get our labrets fitted as this way they can help make sure your piercing is suitable for the jewellery. They can also make sure the jewellery is fitted securely and without any damage. If you're struggling to get the posts in your piercings, its likely that the posts are slightly too thick to fit through. Not to worry though, if you can visit your local reputable piercer they should be able to help you fit these no problem. It may be worth calling ahead to check that they offer this service. I really wanted to love my star labret purchase. I thought it would be worth the extra money as I trusted the 4mm thread would hold the earring better than cheaper designs. Unfortunately this is not the case. I had the earring put in by my piercer very tightly but I had become loose without me knowing and lost within 3 weeks. I still have the gold back piece but it's obviously now useless. An expensive mistake!

Hi Joanne, Thank you for leaving a review. We are so sorry to hear that you lost your earring within 3 weeks of purchasing it. We understand how disappointing it can be to lose a piece of treasured jewellery. Unfortunately without seeing the full piece in person to undergo our warranty inspection, we would be unable to confirm if it was faulty or not which is why lost earrings are not covered by our 6 month warranty policy. Usually if a stud screws in without a customer or piercer noticing any issues when fitting, it would be likely that it has accidentally snagged on a piece of clothing or hair which will have caused the stud to unscrew and eventually fall out. To prevent this, we would always recommend that our customers check their jewellery regularly to ensure that it is still fitted securely to their piercing. Our 4mm thread lengths on our studs give our customers more time to notice if an earring is loosening than regular body jewellery which usually has 2mm thread lengths.
