We are experiencing delays due to Royal Mail strikes this month. We’ve done absolutely everything we can to try and make sure that customers receive their orders in good time - including upgrading our standard shipping to Royal Mail special delivery at no extra cost to customers. All our earrings are designed for multiple piercings and are designed to be very dainty - so that you can wear lots together up your ears. We list all the measurements of our pieces in the product descriptions and show the earrings in different ears so that customers can see how they might look when worn. I am still awaiting my order which should have arrived by now. It is now untrackable with Royal Mail. I wanted to wear the jewellery today for my birthday. One very disappointed customer. :(

The quality of the earring was very disappointing. After following the instructions and paying for a professional to fit the earring and failing. A waste of money.

Hi Mark We're really sorry to hear you are disappointed with the quality of your clicker hoop. Quality is something that is really important to us and our other customers. Your wife had contacted us with an image of the earring and to let us know that her piercer was not able to thread the post of the clicker hoop through her ear. She was concerned that the post was maybe faulty since it was not pointed at the end. Having inspected the image and seeing that the earring was in perfect condition, we replied to explain that the issue your piercer had with fitting the jewellery was likely to do with the gauge or diameter being inappropriate for the chosen piercing. We sent you some fitting tips and suggested visiting a different piercer for a second opinion and advice on sizing up a piercing. As explained we were unable to accept a return on the earring for hygiene reasons, we understand that this was disappointing and are sorry to read your one star review, however this policy is in place for the protection of all our customers. Please don't hesitate to contact us in the future if we can help in any way with advice on fitting your wife's earring, if the gauge of the earring is too thick for the piercing it should be a simple and straightforward fix for an experienced piercer to size it up. Unfortunately the earring is too short it wouldn’t even go through to half of my earlobe so not fit for purpose.

Hi Karen We're really sorry to hear that the earring you purchased was an unsuitable size for your ear piercing. Our labret studs detach from the front with a 4mm screw attached - this screws into the main 6mm long post which has first been threaded through from the back of the ear. 6mm is a standard length for most cartilage piercings but personal anatomy varies and some people need longer (or shorter). We would recommend visiting a piercer experienced in solid gold body jewellery for fitting our jewellery, sometimes piercings are still slightly swollen which can affect the sizing by one or two millimetres. If this is the case, they will be best placed to advise the size you require when it's fully healed. Please do get in touch if we can help at all. All the best, Team LB

I bought 2 butterfly labrets but am so very disappointed as they aren’t long enough. Have been told by Laura Bond that that’s the only size they do and should have checked with my piercer before buying!!! That’s a lot of help! Other companies offer differing sizes and can make them shorter when piercings are healed. I bought from Lark & Berry who offer better lengths and I’m so glad. I’m sorry I wasted my money on Laura Bond jewellery - you need to have very small ears

Hi Caroline, We're sorry to read your one star review. We'd love to be able to make a variety of sizes but as a small business, at the moment we only make the most common size for healed piercings which is a 6mm post. Everyone's ear anatomy is unique and unfortunately, cartilage jewellery is not a one size fits all; which is why we always suggest double-checking your size with a piercer before purchasing. Some brands make specific piercing jewellery which is typically an 8mm post length to allow for swelling, and then customers can size down to 6mm once a piercing is fully healed and no longer swollen. As we are not a piercing jewellery brand, this isn't something we would be able to currently offer. However, as we let you know when you first contacted us, we are bringing out a collection of longer length 8mm designs later in the year which will be sold as complete earrings. We are intending that the post will be interchangeable with the fronts of the earrings you recently purchased that have our unique 4mm secure threads. Please don't hesitate to contact us again if you have any other questions.

Poor product and service to match. They showed an image and then sent a different product and then had the cheek to tell me that I got it wrong. I was only refunded when I threatened legal action. I gave them 1Star because there is not an option for zero

Hi Jackson, We're disappointed to read your one star review. The 9k double crystal pavé hoop earrings that you purchased were a new 8mm diameter version of an earring we previously sold in 10mm. The images on the product page showed the 10mm version while we awaited new 8mm photography, the two products are identical apart from the 2mm difference in diameter. This is why when you counted the "protrusions" on your earrings you counted 14 on each instead of the 16 shown on the website images. We explained this to you in our first email when you queried if the wrong product had been sent but as soon as you made us aware of your disappointment, we were very happy to offer you a full refund and free return shipping. We can assure you this would have been the case without the threat of trading standards. We're sorry to now learn you were unhappy with this resolution.
