“Took 3 weeks to arrive, sent wrong items”

“The first delivery of a small light bulb was marred by the arrival of a crushed small box and bent terminals on the bulb itself. Maybe the packaging was unsound. Maybe Royal Mail's rough handling was responsible, despite the clear 'fragile' label on the package. An email to 'lamps2udirect' did result in a free of charge replacement being sent. So the right thing was done in the end.”

“I received the lamps and was happy with them but the delivery was slower than expected. I had to chase to ask what was going on with my order and received a plausible and acceptable response but I would have felt more at ease if they had let me know the reason for the delay before I had to chase. Also I did ask whether the same style strip lamp was available in the shorter 221mm length but never got an answer, so overall I am not that impressed with their customer service.”

“Ordered 2 Philips 55W UV tubes however compatible Osram tubes were delivered instead. Would normally not be an issue but these are labelled as made in Russia! Probably bought stock before the current problem but not somewhere we should buy from at the moment!”
