“I want Mr Martin Foster to know how outstanding the team, headed by Marie, at the Lord Street Branch in Southport are. Friendly, knowledgeable about their stock and go over and beyond to find/ order the right size, when it's not in. Customer service at this level, sadly is a rarity. It's a real pleasure to shop here with such great staff. It's my first ' go to ' shop for purchases for myself or family. Thankyou to you all, Marie, Gemma, Karen,Aimee,Michelle, Beverly and Irene. “Really pleased with the sheepskin slippers I bought recently, which are as cosy as I'd hoped for. The only disappointment (and it was a significant one) was finding they were made in China. I believed I was buying a British product made in the Lake District and there is nothing in the product details on the website to indicate otherwise. In truth, I would have made the purchase from the other company I looked at, given that it makes its products in Somerset. I hope Lakeland have a rethink. I feel sure many other customers might share my thoughts on this point.”

“The contact between customer service and myself was superb, I was notified immediately my washbag was ready for delivery and then contact was kept throughout the delivery process which was an amazing one day! Well packed and protected I was more than happy with the beautiful leather used, the fine, even top stitching and the quality and ease of using the zips. Every little detail was top quality both inside and out and I would highly recommend to anyone seeking out that special gift or for keeping themselves. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.”

“I have received excellent customer service from Anna who quickly located an item that I required in an alternative size from one of their shops & which was showing as out of stock online. From her prompt reply to my initial enquiry, Anna has kept me up to date throughout regarding receiving my return & sending out the replacement. Free returns are not offered but considering the reduced price of the item ordered I was happy to arrange through Evri at a small cost to myself. I would not hesitate to order again from this company given their prices, quick delivery and exceptional customer service in today's competitive retail market.”

“At first I thought the slippers were great but after a couple of weeks the stitching started to come undone. I sent some photos and they asked for more, after which they made me feel that I was lying by saying they had to be returned "to be investigated". As they had not offered to replace them and it being freezing I asked what other options they could offer, which was a paltry 10% off which I felt I had to accept. They did it quickly but I then had to ask exactly how much had been refunded as they had not sent an invoice for the amount. All the communication was somewhat terse and brusque, not worth the effort. Will not buy from them again.”
