“All dresses were lovely. However be careful if your staff are smokers, as one of the dresses (the baroque swing) overwhelmingly stank of stale cigarettes as soon as i removed it from the plastic packaging. As a non-smoker it was very obvious and revolting. It went straight into the washing machine. Not happy. Such a shame.”

“Quality and fit is incredibly hit and miss. I've got a couple of dresses from Lady V that fit great and are made of a good quality fabric, but I've got others where the fit is terrible and the quality of fabric is really poor, and nowhere near the rrp (barely worth £10 in the sale). It's always a big gamble ordering from Lady V”

“Pretty dresses BUT REDUCED THE PRICE OF THE DRESSES ON THE WEBSITE BEFORE THE DRESSES WERE DELIVERED TO ME BUT DIDN'T REDUCE MINE ON MY ORDER TO MATCH EVEN THOUGH MINE WHERE IN THE SALE... COULD JAVR BOUGHT A 5TH DRESS WITH THE EXTRA THEY CHARGED ME”

“Sadly this purchase is not to the same standard as all the others. Usually an amazing company whose dresses match their online pictures, this one just wasn't and came with the wrong coloured belt too. I'm contacting them to discuss - they are always helpful so i'm expecting a positive response. Definitely a one off poor purchase - i've had 100% satisfaction before (purchased many dresses from them) Acceptable is the rating because of previous purchases being amazing”

“Some lady V styles are wonderful. It’s just a pity the sizing is so haphazard. I ordered 4 dresses. All the same size. I only kept one of them. Two were much too tight around the waist but very baggy around the neckline. One other was a good fit around the waist but baggy on the neckline. The 4th fit perfectly. How can 4 dresses the same size be such a different fit?”

“I’ve only given 3 stars as one of my dresses which I ordered wasn’t in the parcel! When arrived the parcel was smaller than expected. The Ursula red floral print dress was on the invoice but not in the parcel. The parcel hadn’t been tampered with so must have been missed out at packing stage. Checking your stock it is no longer available in my size! I love Lady Vintage Voluptuous size dresses. I’m a size 30/32. I ordered a 3/4 sleeve Lyra dress in black which I’ve received & is going to be so useful. As the Ursula dress I ordered doesn’t seem to be available, I like the black Ursula dress with neon high heel shoes. If I receive another dress my star rating will be 5.... more even!”

“Beautiful dress but comes up small. I wear 14-16 and the 16 wouldn’t even look on me. I would have had to go up at least two sizes! Gutted as I skate and the style of this dress was so lovely.”

This year I had to return a few of my orders for either quality or size. In my current order, the Lyra and Maisie dresses fit well, but Bexley is too small, even though they are all a size 16.”
