Would have been five stars had it not have been for a toilet fault, however, a technician was quickly dispatched and problem sorted. Very happy with all aspects of our part exchange.

Really pleased with everything. We thought the handover with Dave was excellent. The only thing that would have been good would have been for someone to give us a call just after our two night familiarisation stay at Wareham Forest to see how we got on.

In general, the staff were very good and helpful with a special thank you for Simon. However, it seems we still have some problems which need attention leaving us to resolve with Hymer and the Carpet supplier this leaves us wondering why LBC fail to indicate what's missing at the point of sale. In our case the carpets were not fit for purpose no 24mtr lead was provided, no jack for the Alko frame, and no wheel brace, therefore the caravan was not fully roadworthy at the time of delivery, we were left to install the hydraulic unit without a clue how to operate the controls in pouring rain and the caravan was jacked up for ALKO LOCKS and remained up for three hours whilst half the campsite helped to eventually lower the unit followed by a 20-mile drive to get a mains lead. (The caravan was out of line on a slope ns/os). We are both over 80 years of age with considerable experience of caravans. We are in contact with suppliers to rectify this as instructed by LBC. The leak under the sink remains as does the missing chrome strip from the cupboard in the bedroom in conjunction with jointing tape between panes curling at the edges. Sorry, we shall not at this stage even consider taking down the unit again for another workshop visit maybe we shall later within the warranty LBC period. Due to no regular maintenance stamps, the Hymer 10-year warranty is void.

We are delighted with our purchase and have enjoyed two nights at Wareham Forest. However there were a couple of issues that concerned us. The handover could be accompanied by a written check list giving some basic instructions. Understandably not everything can be covered as it is too much to take in. The paperwork that should have been in the van relating to previous habitation surveys was not there but was posted when this was pointed out. Also the chap who took our caravan assured us that a full service would be carried out on the motorhome but there was no paperwork to suggest that this had happened.

We know handover's can definitely be a lot to take in when collecting and for Bailey caravans we do actually provide a quick sheet as you suggest but with used motorhomes their would simply be too many nuances to cover and instead we tend to refer to the manufacturers handbooks. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The sale and part exchange were handled fairly and we were happy with the deal. A couple of queries went unanswered probably because we we trying to communicate from our holiday in France. Overall a good experience and we are pleased with the new caravan.

The staff were friendly and helpful but the van on was not that clean inside and there was faeces in the toilet so that wasn't that brilliant otherwise very happy with a caravan

All the staff were amazingly polite and helpful. Jasper and Sarah on your sales team were very efficient and Sarah went out of her way to help at the hand-over. When we were taking over our new caravan, the workshop staff were on lunch break but Sarah got down under the new caravan and put on the new ‘feet’ for the steadies. Great effort and much appreciated. By the way, the door on the new caravan is a new design and takes two or three goes to close it. It has to be slammed shut and usually after 2 or 3 normal goes. We traded in our Lunar Quasar 2019 which was in immaculate condition being clean and in great working order. Instead of having our motor mover removed which was part of the original plan, we decided to leave it in place and have a new fitted motor mover system from your company for the new caravan. No suggestion was made to increase the value of our caravan. After spending 4 days nearby after the sale, we returned to the workshop with a small snagging list. We received excellent service speedily. Whilst waiting for that work to be done, we wandered around the caravans for sale. I saw our Lunar caravan had been sold! Whilst looking through the windows one of your staff was passing and I said it had been ours. He told me that, unlike most trade in caravans, the workshop had absolutely no work to do to prepare our caravan for sale. That made me very proud. However, I then got a bit upset when I saw the sale price. Why am I disappointed? Well, I know you are in business to make a profit but we noticed Lady Bailey had sold our immaculate Lunar caravan immediately with about a £5,000 profit, no doubt much more appealing for having a working motor mover in place. I felt I had been done. Why am I disappointed? Maybe I should have bargained with you? Maybe I should have shopped around? The experience took away some of the joy and pride I had felt. I know you are in business to make a profit but that was a blow. Mrs Sìleas Culverhouse.

Thank you for your kind comments regarding Jasper and Sarah, we will be sure to pass these on, it is always appreciated when we hear staff have gone the extra mile. I note that new doors can start off a bit stiff, however if you don’t notice this improve over time we will be happy to take a look at this for you, just let us know. Regarding motor movers left on vehicles, we do offer to swap the movers where possible but much like extras on cars, these small extras add little to no extra value to a new customer as they are a used product and their reliability is unknown. I know that seeing the ticket price in the window of your traded in vehicle can come as a shock, however, please do bear in mind that the price in the window does not equate to profit. Much of that difference is used funding a part exchange into book, the VAT, the cost of the PDI (which is required even on well looked after models) and all the normal associated costs of running a business ie. Staffing costs, rent, utilities, insurance, marketing, vehicles etc which would not apply if you were simply selling privately. I hope this explanation alleviates some of the disappointment you may have felt and I am glad that overall you had a good experience. Found personnel very abliging there was no pushing for me to buy, I was allowed to look around the caravans with no one following me around any questions I asked were answered to my satisfaction. I like to haggle a bit but there was none to be had the price on the ticket was the price I had to pay.

Sales and after sales service very good. Pre-service hand over could have been better. Disappointed when received Caravan, which didn’t appear to have been cleaned, ie microwave plate dirty, kitchen sink, bowl and shower needed cleaning.
