Order with Caution! When ordering from Ladderstore make absolutely sure you only order you are absolutely sure of what you need. If you are at all unsure, then do not bother with this company: take your custom elsewhere. To be fair their returns policy does state that any returns will be refunded minus transportation costs, what they do not make clear is that for a 5 tread ladder bought for just over £100; the return cost is £67! Apparently this is set by their couriers, believe of that what you will. When I then attempted to make arrangements to return the ladder in person, I was then told the depot was in Cardiff and that they would need to check if a return in person was acceptable. This is despite the fact that ALL of Ladderstore’s communications stating they are based in Bolton. I don’t live far from Bolton, so it’s strange that when I mention a return in person all of a sudden it needs to go to Cardiff, where you may, or may not be allowed to return it to. All I all I’m left with the feeling that the return / refund process operated by this company is designed to be as difficult as is possible to discourage you from doing so. So, to summarise. Customer relaitons from Ladderstore have been extremely poor to date and their return courier charges are exorbitant. If you’d like to be treated like your custom mattered, then I would STRONGLY advise you to shop elsewhere.

Hi Russell, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and we apologise you are unhappy with our returns policy. Our returns policy is in place on our website for all customers to see before placing an order and our terms are also extended to 30 days, which is 16 days more than required by law. In regards to our returns costs, these are dictated by our couriers and this depends on the item purchased, we do not add any additional fees to this as we know they are already costly. Our returns costs and processes are no different to that of our like for like competitors which can also be found on their websites. Our products are sourced throughout the UK from various hubs and the location they leave from is the location they need to be returned to, hence why the item needs returning to Cardiff. No returns costs are applicable if items are faulty or damaged however on this occasion the wrong size was ordered. Hope this helps, any further questions please let us know - Ladderstore.

I ordered a ladder over a week ago, and haven't received it yet. As I had heard nothing from Ladderstore I sent them an email on Wednesday 1st December to find out what was happening with the order and was told it would be delivered Friday 3rd December, but haven't even had a confirmation message that it has been despatched. I did receive an email inviting me to review though. But when I click on the link to review Ladderstore, it says it has been removed. I wonder why? So I have to review anonymously. Obviously I'm really not very happy. If Ladderstore read this my order no. is 1000122119.

We ordered the steps that were stated as ‘In Stock’ but turn out they weren’t. I wasn’t satisfied with the response I got. It it says in stock it should mean that. Regardless of hard to get materials etc. You need to change this to make sure other people are not mislead.

I ordered a WH Hulley ladder for our new dressing room. The ladder took a long tome to arrive but seemed to turn up pretty quickly after I chased them up. The colour was good but paint so poorly applied, it will need at least another coat. The ladder itstelf is poorly made and requires some strength to open as doesn't seem aligned. A lot of money for a very poor product.

The lock supplied lasted a few weeks before it broke. The lock is now unusable.

The Warehouse steps purchased have a lead time of 3-4 weeks as they are made to order. Very poor service still await my v stand off after two months. And After three delivery dates have now passed by.

Hi ladders were good price compared to others delivery was quick But that's where the good ends ladders seem like there seconds really stiff top step and loose handles the blue tray was snapped in half when I got them , message you for replacement twice then got reply saying one will be sent ASAP But I'm STILL WAITING 😡

I was refused a refund on a ladder which didn’t fit. Despite your website stating a no quibble refund. I was told it was a special order... then eventually told I could have a refund. Have had to wait 5 weeks for this. Customer service manager was useless.

We do endeavour to have as much information on the specs and dimensions of all our products on the website. Unfortunately, if an item is ordered in error we cannot send our carriers in free of charge to collect the unwanted item. As you returned this item to us in good condition we issued a refund in full. I ordered 3 ladders which were listed as in stock on the website. Once payment was received a few days later I was informed the ladders were not in stock and would have to be made. A few weeks later the ladders were delivered with the correct delivery note but incorrect products. Collection then had to be arranged and the ladders made and then delivered again. This process lasted over a month, during which I had to hire similar products as to complete a project we were working on. Nothing was suggested from Ladderstore as a gesture. Or what I would consider a genuine apology.

Bought ladders off Ladderstore. Paid for replacement feet , ,but they sent the wrong ones .Emailed a picture of the correct feet and spoke to numerous people . But months later, still waiting !

If you advertise next day delivery then it should be NEXT DAY and not several days later. I was charged an amount for a superior delivery service that I should not have been, since you blatantly did not intend honouring it. You have not even had the decency to apologise let alone refund the charge you made for a courier service. I would not use your company again.

Good Afternoon, Apologies for any misunderstanding. This particular item was ordered on a next-day delivery service on Friday and as per our terms was delivered on the Monday.
