“Received my Black Watch tartan trews 5 days after shipment, which is super fast for a shipment to Belgium. Absolutely delighted with them, fit is perfect and the quality of the material makes them very good value for money.”

“Very pleased with the product and service. However I would suggest you contemplate offering such items in a presentation box as I had quite a search to find one of the right dimensions and I'm sure you could provide a reasonably priced acceptable box. The one I eventually purchased was quite expensive.”

“Ordered a number of items and they arrived quickly without having to pay extra. Unfortunately brogues and sporran were damaged so called Jess at the company who was really helpful and asked that I email photos which I duly did. The following morning I had an email back confirming that replacements were on their way; they arrived within days. Return label provided to return the faulty goods with no costs incurred. Shame the items were dispatched defective but can’t fault their service. Would order again from you.”

“Fast Service. The goods arrived in good condition as it is a gift for my son, we have to wait to see the fit. But as far I can recommend the service, I can not judge the quality until a few weeks/months. If it survive my son (how kill every trousers an shoes in a few hours or if lucky weeks) I think I will be buying more kilts at the society.”

“A nice tartan, but the pleats can crumple just by being looked at... but this is a PV kilt. A good entry level kilt for most events (once COVID-19 is done), promptly sent. Would consider buying other tartans in and possibly a wool one in future :)”

“Update: Since I wrote the review below, they have been in touch and have arranged that the sizes of hose on a new order has been measured for comparison with past orders and we are confident that the fit will be good. -------------------------- I shopped with this group (as buyakilt) several years ago and had a great experience. When they sent me the wrong item, they were very helpful in getting it sorted and willing to pay the return postage. This time I ordered a pair of Lewis hose and 2 pair of Strone hose. Delivery was very prompt, but while the Lewis are an OK fit, the Strone are too large. I found this surprising as they are rated as size 5-8 US and I have shoes that are 7 1/2 and 8 according to the US sizing, yet one pair of hose is slightly too large and the other even larger. No way I can fit them satisfactorily in a pair of dancing pumps. I've been pointed to the returns policy, but it would cost me half the price of a pair to post them back to the UK and so I will try to sell them locally for about 3/4 of the original price. I'm reluctant even to order a pair of the same style as I've had before since the price has gone up and there seems to be no guarantee that they will fit either.”

Hey Neville Thanks for your feedback, we really do appreciate it. We've found the sizing of our hose to be quite accurate, I'm sorry this wasn't your experience. As I had mentioned before, hose are designed to fit a range of shoe sizes so can occasionally be a tad on the larger side. We do accept world wide returns - whilst we would love to cover the postage costs for our customers, I'm afraid it's just not something that we're able to do. I am really sorry to hear your reluctant to re-order. Not to fret, I'll get in touch and see if there's anything we can do to smooth this out for you. Maya
