“I came in to see Sylvain for his help with my hair which was very orange after a previous bayalage with someone else, he really understood what I wanted and looked after me really well. I’m so happy with the results and looking forward to coming back again soon. The staff in this salon are very professional and friendly and it has a great atmosphere. Sylvain is an artist and I feel very lucky to have discovered him!”

“This was my first visit to Anne Veck. I picked this salon because of their commitment to serving all hair types, and since I have Afro hair I'm always nervous about how it will be handled in non-specialised salons. Thankfully, I was taken care of by Nicola who was such a lovely stylist! She was professional, but also very friendly and knowledgeable about how to take care of textured hair. She gave me great recommendations, and was so gentle with my hair. She also talked me through everything that she was doing, which put me at ease and made me feel that I could trust her. I cannot say enough great things about Nicola, she really made my experience as stress-free and fun as possible. I left with moisturised hair and a nice new shape, all under 1hr and at a very reasonable price! Overall, I was glad to see that at Anne Veck they don't just talk about inclusion and diversity, but really practice it. I had a great first experience here, and would happily come back again for another visit!”

“I had my hair cut by Nicola and it was a fantastic experience! I love my new hair and can highly recommend. A major plus is that this is a sustainable salon that is conscious of the environment and making a huge effort to reduce waste and operate at carbon zero levels. Wonderful :)”

“This was my first visit to Anne Veck. Despite Storm Francis raging outside Sylvain was welcoming and friendly. He listened to my vague ideas about what I wanted carefully and then built on these with his expertise and knowledge. Sylvain explained how he was cutting my hair and why and I learnt a lot, especially about hair razor combs! I am already looking forward to my next visit.”

“This was my first visit to Anne Veck. I was welcomed by Sylvain who was super cheerful despite Storm Francis outside. I had a vague idea of what I wanted and Sylvain listened carefully. He then built on these with his expertise and knowledge and gave me two options to choose from. He explained what he was doing throughout which was great and I enjoyed learning about hair razor combs! I am already looking forward to next time.”

“This was my first visit to Anne Veck and I arrived with a vague plan, which Sylvain listened to carefully. He then made two suggestions that we could go with which incorporated my initial ideas but which he built on with his expertise and knowledge. I am really happy with my new cut and looking forward to the next visit!”

“My sister and I met up at Anne Veck Oxford to get our hair coloured/cut post-lockdown, as a treat for my sister's 50th birthday. Sylvain and Kelly were our stylists. The consultations were carried out with lots of discussion, positivity and excitement at what we could have done and 2 1/2 hours later we have styles and colours we both absolutely love with tips on how to maintain the colour. “I came in with very patchy and murky hair wanting to go dark green. My consultation was very helpful and only £20, which was deducted from the final price, and I had a great time. I then got my hair dyed by Sylvain the exact green colour I was hoping for! I couldn't recommend Anne Veck enough. Everyone there was lovely and I'm very happy with my end result and the price :)”

“Highly recommend Elias! He did such a great job on my post-lockdown hair as it had been 6+ months since my last cut. My hair is really thick and often hairdressers complain and take extra time to get through it, but Elias seemed to love the challenge and it was one of the most relaxed and fun hairdresser visits I've had. The salon is also super onto COVID precautions with temperature checks, distancing between clients, screens, masks and visors. Thanks guys!”

“Received a beautiful colour transformation on my hair from the talented and professional Sylvain, as well as gorgeous blow dry from Elias. “I had an absolutely amazing experience with Sylvain. I described generally what I was looking for and gave him the reigns to give me colour and a cut I could only dream of. Sylvain cares about his clients and it felt really good to be in his capable hands. He is an artist and while you are in his chair you can feel his passion and enthusiasm radiating. Hands down, I would recommend him to anyone looking to take your look to the next level. Sylvain will get you there!”

“I went to have a cut and balayage with Sylvain and it was a truly great experience. You can tell that he really puts the client first and cares about the health of your hair. He did an Olaplex treatment on my hair and it still feels amazingly soft and healthy even after the bleach. You can tell he loves what he does and puts great care into giving you the perfect hair. Thank you so much !!”
