“I came across Churchill Wood - one of Kate and Tom's properties at Spetchley, near Worcester, and decided to book it as a venue to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday in October 2019. The property was perfect for what we needed - homely and lived-in, and with everything I needed to help make the birthday a memorable one. In total, we had 14 guests, including 3 young children and everyone felt at home, and relaxed while we were there. The hot tub was great, there were ample games to keep us all amused and the beds and rooms were cosy and well-equipped. Throughout the process, the communication was timely, and clear - and Kate and Tom's team were quick in coming back and responding to queries etc. All in all - we had an unforgettable time. It was hard to leave, and I'm sure it won't be long before we book with them again. Thank you for helping us make this such a special birthday for my wife x”

“This web site is excellent and easy to use and they keep you informed during every part of the process . As for the Water Wheel house the photos do not do this house justice, it is amazing and if you want pure luxury this is the place for you . We got much more than we expected and you will not be disappointed if you book this house . Wendy and Robin were very helpful and were on the end of the phone at all times if you could not find something or needed help . The only downside was having to go home to my house after living in this house for the weekend . We are at present as a family trying to think up an occasion that will allow us to go again .”

“It was very efficient and any queries that I had were quickly answered. There was some confusion with filling in forms for all the people staying. I had to complete another form through the manager with additional e-mail addresses and where everyone would sleep. The reason being that it was required for insurance purposes and we had not booked direct.”

“All requirements were met and exceeded but for our family group the more unusual highlights made our stay extra special. The twin hot tubs - one for each branch of the family!, the grand staircase and the secret staircase, the wonderful Wendy house, the superb dining room and the vast amount of space.”
