Ordered oven from John Lewis in September and booked the delivery and installation via their subcontractror, Kaboodle. First attempt - they said they couldn't install it for a safety reason that is nowhere in the documentation. I sorted that issue out, then booked the second delivery - this time no slots until November. Having asked a friend to sit round at my house all day, the drivers arrived but this time the oven glass was smashed, so again they went without installing it. I have since been trying to get it rebooked. They only deliver Tuesdays and Wednesdays and are very inflexible within that. Having ordered it in September, it was looking very much like I wouldn't get it before Christmas so rather than risk it I have cancelled the order and have ordered with a different supplier. Throughout the process John Lewis customer service have been very charming, apologetic and responsive. However, their hands are tied by this terrible subcontractor. They are probably OK if you aren't having an installation (although the product was smashed in one case, so maybe not). My impression is that the Kaboodle installers are keen to find something wrong so they can leave the item ununstalled/take it away and get quickly to the next drop off. They arrived early at my first delivery attempt because they hadn't completed the previous one either so I'm sure my experience is not unusual at all.

Installation confirmed for 18/11 , call received late on 13/11 advising me installation could not go ahead as no gas installer in the area....even though I was told only Tuesday & Wednesday. Despite contacting Kaboodle both on 13/11 & 14/11 to sort no return call received. I have now taken up with AEG & cancelled order as both parties poor customer service. I will ensure in future if Kaboodle is the partner to the supplier I choose I won't be ordering !

The earliest slot I could book was 4 weeks away, after I'd waited 5 months for LG to agree to a return. No text/email in the days proceeding stating what time to expect them, communication was poor. Just praying they turn up at this point.

They made 5 visits destroyed a cabinet door. We had to replace ot at our cost. Finally attached the right door to the right dishwasher for it to be hanging off after 4 months. They only guarantee their work for 30 days so are not interested. Disgusting service. Comeback and fix your mess you cowboys !

We ordered our Miele dishwasher a week ago and the first day available is in 3 weeks. 4 weeks waiting for a £1000 dishwasher.

I don't know how they have so many good reviews here, I guess they probably only send the link to people after they have installed and presumably that usually goes well. However, in my case, they turned up once but didn't bother to call me and left, then missed their next delivery slot because of a shortage of engineers, then spent months trying to get confirmation on redelivery from Appliances Direct, then rearranged to another day and then missed it again. I've been trying to get this cooker installed since May and now they're saying there are no slots until January. I'll have to cancel the booking and order a new one. They've been genuinely terrible throughout, it's caused much more headache than it should and I am very annoyed about it

Brad and Charlie installed our cooker today they were really polite shown us how to work things and set the clock on the cooker for us, they covered the floor where they were working, all the packaging on the appliance was taken off in the back of the van and no packaging left they were excellent, and respected our property, the oven works superbly,

Arrived on time, removed old dishwasher, installed new dishwasher, all in under thirty minutes, what an amazing service. I highly recommend Kaboodle.

Ashley from Kaboodle installed my new semi-integrated dishwasher. Gave me notice of expected arrival time and arrived promptly, Old machine removed quickly, new machine installed quickly and carefully. Ashley was polite, friendly, efficient, and worked tidily. He took great care to ensure all the seals were tight (no leaks) and the new machine fitted flush with the existing cabinets. Having seen some bad reviews of Kaboodle I was apprehensive, but there was no need. Ashley was excellent and I am very satisfied with the work,

Kaboodle arrived on time with my Smeg fridge from John Lewis.The appliance in a box needed carrying 4 floors up a stairwell.Unfortunately driver and his assistant couldn’t find enough excuses not to help carry it and left it on the ground floor.Just lazy!

Ryan and James replaced our washing machine with such care and consideration. They removed the old machine quickly and efficiently, changed the connection of our new washing machine from a plug to hard-wire it with no hassle. They even took the time to ensure the cupbard door fitted and lined up neatly with the worktop and units. They went above and beyond and their attention to detail was much appreciated!!

Waited over 2 weeks for delivery and installation. Incorrectly installed dishwasher, leaked in cupboards. Called immediately he returned and said dishwasher was faulty. Had to get manufacturer out, it was incorrectly installed by fitter and was not faulty. Your fitter also damaged plinths and myson heater front panel. I have sent photos of damage to your customer service team a week ago and have not received a response, also rang twice to chase up but no response.

Mudeer and Nathan fitted a new fridge/freezer today. It was arranged through the manufacturer, so I didn't have a choice on who was sent to do the installation. These chaps were a delight: respectful, polite, tidy, courteous and friendly. The fridge/freezer is still settling so I'll tell you here if it doesn't work when I switch it on! If I do have to organise an installation myself, I'll be booking through Kaboodle. Thank you!
