“I never actually received the luggage and did not find out that I would not be getting it until the day evening before my holiday. The reason was poor service from Yodel who are ITs carrier. I paid for next day delivery. The night prior to the stated delivery I found out that the delivery slot was 14 hours and I needed to sign for it. I my opinion this is an unrealistic time slot and so I arranged for the parcel to be delivered to a local Yodel collection point. I was aware that it could take 24 hours after requesting a change in the delivery for the parcel to get there. The 24 hours passed and no parcel and so I contacted customer services at both Yodel and IT and was re-assured that the parcel would be there by the following evening. During the afternoon I got a mail from IT saying that there may be a problem with my delivery due to an incomplete address. I had chosen the Yodel pick up point on-line from there list of options and it definitely was complete. Yodel were aware of where the parcel needed to be delivered to and in effect were saying that they did not know the address of there own specific pick up point. I cancelled the order Throughout ITs customer services were very helpful.”
