“This navy jersey was ordered because I like my mid-blue one with Rathlin label so much I bought it in Dunfanaghy in July 2013 . Although this one is also a Medium it is slightly bigger overall but about 3" longer.”

“I love my rollneck sweaters. It is walking around in my duvet. They are comfortably warm, but not in my way. As I remember well: I am sorry that the colours of the rollneck sweaters not available are anymore for the hoodies sweaters. And last year there where more collours available.”

“I love my new sweater! I live in the U.S. and the shipping was a little long (but expected). It would have been nice to see an email sent out when my sweater was shipped but that's my only complaint.”

“I like the colour of the garment and it's very warm. My only small gripe would be that the wool is starting to form bobbles (pills?) on the body side of the arms and the body where the arms touch it. Not sure if that's an inevitable characteristic of this wool, but my old Donegal, now 16 years old and retired, never did this (it was made by Ireland's Eye).”

Hello Edna Many thanks for your review. I'm glad to hear that you like your sweater. As for the pilling, it is some times a characteristic of hand knitting yarns and certain colours seem more prone to it than others, however it is never much of a problem as the little bobbles can easily be removed. I hope this helps and thanks again!

“the quality of material is very good the button system where a gap of some 5" between top buttons and the lower ones requires some attention i am getting my seamstress to fit some 'velkro'”

We try to ensure that the colours depicted are as accurate as we can make them, but, obviously, there are a great many variables in how the images are displayed on a customers screen. Thanks anyway.

“Cardigan is nice, elegant and warm. Maybe it is not so comfortable underarms (feel tight underarm seams in spite of xl size) and it has quite small holes for buttons. But I hope it will be good autumn layer for my slimmer daughter. With best wishes, Gabriela”

“I was very happy with the item I ordered, and it was delivered in a timely fashion.....all the way to Los Angeles! The only thing that I didn't like was that they wrote the contents of the package on the outside. The item was meant to be a gift for my dad. Luckily, my sister got the mail that day. But she brought it to me she asked, "Why did you order '1 cotton hat' from the UK?" Hahah! The gift wasn't a secret from her, but I would have preferred that the contents of the package NOT be written on the outside label.”

Hi Shila Many thanks for taking the time to write us a review. We're very pleased to hear that your Guinness hat arrived so promptly & that you're so pleased with it. We're sorry though, that our writing the contents on the package slightly spoilt the experience for you. However, this is a mandatory requirement. The shipper, i.e. us, has to list the contents of the package on the customs sticker, which must be clearly displayed in oder for it to clear through customs. If we hadn't done this it is very likely that you wouldn't have received your purchase. I hope this helps and thanks again for the business - much appreciated :-))

“I am quite happy with the service and the product once I ordered. However, at an earlier occasion the item I wanted was out of stock and you promised to get back to me when it arrived. That never happened, so I had to follow it up myself.”

Hi Berth Many thanks for your kind review - we're delighted to hear that you are pleased with your purchase and our service. However, we were very concerned to hear that we may not have got back to you, as promised, re the availability of the scarf you wanted, so we have checked our emails to you. It appears that we emailed you on the 9th Jan (hopefully you received this) saying that we would let you know once it was back in stock. The scarf came back into stock during June (they are hand-woven by a very small company who do not mass produce their goods, so hence the long wait!) just a few days before you contacted us. You are correct though - concerning the time passed from your enquiry and our reply in Jan., it would have been better if we had kept you more informed - lesson learnt!
